That's what my neighbor said. He said it weas quite the show with the mobile repair and "supervisors" around. Must have been one heck of a spill with all that kitty litter. There are a couple of spots that I may add more to, if I still have any. About 20 feet to the right is a street drain that flows to the river less than a mile away, so things could have been much worse if it had let go at the neighbors' instead. Neighbor said that it appeared like they removed the line and plugged it off so she could get the truck back to the yard. Pic is of the type of lift they are using for residential now. They seem to spill less than the side-loaders they used before.

How about now? I normally download the photo from Google to my computer, then drag it into the post. I may not have done that last night.

Recycling truck blew up yesterday trying to lift our can. It was an in-office day for me, but I heard that it was quite the drama. Repair crew, POed driver, etc. About 2 hours total in front of the house. Quite an oil drip line around the corner until this happened. These trucks were new not long ago, but I guess they aren't anymore.

I know some folks based out of Vancouver, WA. if you are interested in a fresh conversion. It would be a Sprinter though. Not sure what they are building or what they have for sale. They are in escrow for a new house right now. Kristina will even teach you the "This is the way we grind our poo" song that goes with using the composting toilet.

Don't want to stir the pot or get hit with the ban stick, but that crash was quite survivable if the backseat passengers had fastened their seatbelts. Would have changed the course of history. Sad that it happened for sure. She seemed like an amazing person. I don't think that either of her sons inherited any of her charisma.

Yes they are nice, especially since they are available with 4WD. I have some friends that got into the business of converting Sprinters into campers. The nice thing about the Sprinter is the diesel engine. There are some really high-end diesel heaters available. Combine that with batteries and solar, and you don't need propane. They have stopped installing cooktops in their vans. With a decent electric system, a 2-burner inductive cooktop works great and it only uses counterspace when you use it. They are currently rehabbing a 2018 (?) RAM 3500 Overland camper. They removed the propane and installed a diesel heater. New cabinets, and it will have an induction cooktop like the Sprinters.

Dumb question: Did the button on the left get accidentally pushed? What happens when you push the one on the right (with the musical note?) We have had a couple of Fords with Sync. Holding down the power button and the Fast Forward >>| reboots it. I don't know anything about the basic system in your van though. I assume Dan will be along in a bit to save the day....

Hope you have a good thermometer to make sure that 105 degrees is really 105 degrees before sticking in the styrene. -
Received mine today, Sacramento, CA area.

I have never owned any of them. I believe that the red taillights and the firewall disappeared with the Prestige issue in the late 1980s, but I don't know for sure.

A Lucid Air. Then I saw a hillbilly-modified F250 that rear-ended a newish Range Rover, pushing it in to a newish Volvo XC90. Ford and Range Rover were bleeding fluids fairly profusely. My Carnak senses tell me that underinsured motorist coverage is going to be used here. The Range Rover looked a couple feet shorter than when it left the factory. -
I am not an eBay selling expert by any means, but I have sold a bit in the past. Before listing anything, I would find a box and whatever packing material I thought it needed. I don't have a postal scale, but I have a decent kitchen scale. I would measure and weigh every complete package and write that info on a Post-It Note stuck to the box. When I listed the item, I had the dimensions and weight right at hand. I know that some don't like it, but I used the eBay shipping calculator and printed the labels when the item sold.

Just got mine (1) today. Thanks for the heads up. I fondled this kit a few times at HL, but never bought one.

I don't know, isn't that how it's pronounced in your neck of the woods?
