  1. I did see that. It would appear that a GTS 4-door would have to be a 1973 or 1974, if this line from Wikipedia is true: Two four-door sedan variants of the Monaro GTS were released in March 1973
  2. Do these represent any particular model year? Other than colour choices that changed year-to-year, are there any other changes in the cars themselves? Speaking of the GTS in particular.
  3. Arrived in the Eastern suburbs of Sacramento today.
  4. Assessment value of my house is currently a fraction of its actual worth, thanks to Proposition 13.
  5. And you are still waiting for it? LOL Seriously, I have had a partially built one for longer than that. Maybe yours will give me inspiration to get it back on the bench.
  6. Around here, the ATMs won't give you your money until you have removed your card.
  7. Driver and passenger wearing masks?
  8. I don't love the '68 A bodies enough to commit to that, I prefer the '69 and '70 versions of all of them. All I was saying is if they had cloned the promo chassis exactly it would have been much easier to make a nice curbside out of this kit. I hope the '65 doesn't suffer the same fate. That said, I am not bashing and I hope that Round 2 digs many more of these old kits out of their mother's basement and makes them available again. I may not buy all of them, but someone will and that makes it all good.
  9. I watched HPI Guy's GTO build last night. I am sad that Round 2 didn't make the rear axle and exhaust a separate part. It appears that the promo was made that way, from the pics I have been able to find on the internet.
  10. Allowed me to like yours.
  11. All of a sudden I am getting this. I understand the http / https error that Chrome always gives, but I haven't seen this one here for a while.
  12. We would have to ask one of our resident experts like Mr. Darby, but it's a fair assumption that the production decal sheet wasn't finalized or printed when the box art models were built.
  13. Subway footlong sandwich
  14. Git outta my drawers!
  15. It is scrapbook paper, and they call it "Embossed Specialty Paper". I wasn't able to find what I got in a store today on their website to show you guys. I think it could make good seatbelts, but it doesn't come in many seatbelt-worthy colors unless you are doing a 70s van. I got grey and black, and I suppose you could pick a lighter color and paint it whatever color you need. It's normally 79 cents a sheet, but it was 40% off today.
  16. Was the typical two tone blue standard bucket seat interior with no console. I have a WIP Revell '68 Cobra Jet in my car's color combination. It would be interesting to see my car's Marti report. Was an odd combination of options. Dad's boss bought it off the lot at Downtown Ford in Sacramento. It was passed to me for $200 in August 1977 with about 50k miles. The car was worth ~$2000 at the time, but they were very generous. We also had a '77 Celica GT Liftback from them that Dad bought for 50 cents. J-code 302-4V, 4-speed toploader, power steering and power disc brakes. AM-FM stereo (!), remote driver's mirror and whatever package included a trunk light.
  17. Had a Diamond Blue 1:1 '68 Mustang for 24 years (1977-2001) Dad had a 1:1 '70 Mustang in Pastel Blue (same color, code "N"). Nobody ever paints model Mustangs, Cougars, and Torinos the pastel colors though.
  18. Yes, it's like that up here as well. I am not fond of Testors overall, so the juice is not worth the squeeze at Hobby Lobby. They act like the 60-something me is going to tag their store before I get to the checkout counter.
  19. What's the Ford Diamond Blue going on?
  20. they're Chinese knockoffs
