  1. I have two of these on pre-order. Hopefully I will see mine soon.
  2. And after losing B-17 Nine-O-Nine in 2019.
  3. 1984 was the title of a book, but using that in the sentence would be too easy, so instead I will say that was the year I almost (and thankfully didn't) get married.
  4. Not too much of a collector, but I do have a 2006 Seamaster Aqua Terra (bought new), a 1967 pie pan from the stepfather-in-law, and the engraved Gruen my mom gave my dad for his birthday in 1952. So yeah, what is it?
  5. 138 VINs ended with the 68 model year.
  6. This is what Steve G. had to say about the '68 in another thread:
  7. Clementines are a very tasty citrus fruit that many children get in their lunchboxes.
  8. "Frankly Scarlett, I don't give a dam", said the beaver.
  9. Can you still get 2TGs? A friend had a modded 77 Corolla SR-5 that we (him, his brother, and I) swapped the 2TC for a 2TG in the early 1980s. Was still really slow, but really a hoot to autocross. You know, driving the slow car fast thing. Watching your lines and braking so you don't lose momentum.
  10. Got mine today as well.
  11. Karen is the name of my spouse's sister, and my spouse is a teacher.
  12. Bart, that looks nice. I think some canopy glue or Bondic on the top would make them much better.
  13. I don't use mine a lot, but I have had my H since the early 1980s and have never had the bottle fall off either. That said, if I am shooting metallic, I hold the brush and bottle together when I agitate the paint.
  14. Box of many kits we hope Little Timmy received for his birthday!
  15. "Earth" is the name that British mechanics use for "ground".
  16. Pretty sure my spousal unit has way more books than I have models, and I am 100% sure we both have too many. We just need a house twice the size of what we have now, but at current California Real Estate prices that ain't gonna happen.
  17. Please stifle your farts while riding the bus.
  18. Have you driven a Ford lately?
  19. Yooooo Hooooo is a strange beverage from New Jersey. (Note: I think it would be fair for the next poster to either start their sentence with New Jersey or just Jersey)
  20. I once bought a replacement cat for a Honduh I used to have. Sealed, minty box. I opened it at the parts counter to see if I needed to get the gaskets separately or if they were in the box. Lo, and behold: A used cat in the box. Of course they didn't have another one in stock. They got one the next day, but it looked like the box had been run over by a forklift, so all the hardware was missing.
  21. KTLA is reporting that he may have suffered a "medical emergency" before crashing his car. He wasn't that old. Sad.
  22. Wonder if this series of molds still exists and if Atlantis has them now? I liked both the '57 Ford and the '57 Chevy.
  23. It's not unusual in California for CHP on overpasses or the side of the road to be working with aircraft. That's how they are able to just "drop in" behind you so easily. They knew you were coming five minutes ago.
  24. The original Trophy Series kit did. I don't know about subsequent issues.
  25. Not familiar with Chromebooks either, but it seems like all you would need is to be connected to the internet and download the appropriate drivers for the printer. On a WinDoze computer, the search for the driver happens automatically.
