1984 GMC Lowrider
JasonFL replied to gautreau's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Real nice work on the truck Jeremy. I love all the details your putting into it, frame, skull switch box, the B.A.D steering wheel that looks identical to the real thing and the paint/polishing came out great. Keep it up, your almost there. -

Glad to see you were able to get some work done on your spring break. It's coming along nicely, keep it going. -
Really? I thought for sure you used the other hood. The curves look BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH near perfect, real nice job. I dont have extra styrene but I think I'm gonna have to try using the hood curves to achieve that look. Also real like how you made that smooth firewall and attached everything to the body. Lookin good billy

Thins thing looks bada$$ Blair! So different looking with the none chop top and sectioned body. I'm glad you went with the steelies and white walls but that other set of rims are killer as well. Where would one find a set? I would love to get my hand on them for a project I have going on.

Man I love what you did with that motor compartment, so clean and smooth looking. That's the look I want to achieve when I finally get to doing mine. Looks like you just cut the old ones out and used the other optional hood to cut the rounded edges off and put them in place. However it was done, looks great. Looking forward to seeing it all painted with those colors. Btw, the 1:1 project is looking good too.

Love seeing photos of this truck. You wouldn't happen to have any of the rear suspension or frame would ya? -

The purple one came out looking real nice. I have to get my hands on one of them kits or at least some parts from it. I also like how you fixed the red on with those tai lights. The truck came out looking mint,I preferred the first option you had for rims but those are classic. I'm really lovin the exhaust tho on the truck, can you tell me what they are from, I would love to try and get a set. -
