  1. Can you clean that up with a toothpick? Works for other paints, if you haven't tried it. The finish is impressively "chromey"!
  2. Wow! You are not wasting any time!. Will this be strictly out-of-the -box, or will you be enhancing it? BTW, that is a COOL looking kit!
  3. Can't wait to see what you do with this. I love the style, but never cared for the Japanese asthetic in color schemes in sci-fi vehicles; always a little TOO toy-like and garish. I heartily agree that the FORM has great potential! You'll do it right, I'm betting...
  4. Oh yeah, really tasteful color choices; beautiful build going here. Would love to see that same color scheme on a 59-63 Impala street rod.
  5. Love them Fox-bodies. Didn't someone do a resin Fox body Fairmont? I always thought they would hot rod up nicely.
  6. Interior looks very authentic; nice attention to detail. Love that blue, it works really well on both cars!
  7. Bondo heals all things.
  8. BONDO!!
  9. Ditto; thanks for those pics!
  10. Great looking engine bay; my favorite part of this build! May I suggest robbing a monogram 68 or 69 GTO kit for its wiper/washer motor assembly to fill that depression at the top of the firewall? It is a nice separate piece.
  11. Beautiful!
  12. Yeah, that's the same one I was thinking of; shows up on ebay in the AHM boxing (molds leased from Revell), and in a Spanish language labeled Revell boxing.
  13. Cale, the Lindberg Dodge 330 (Stock version) has been mentioned here, is easy to find, and has a nice slant-6. The Dodge Deora custom has one as well, but is older tooling. Those two spring to mind right away, I'm sure there are others, just hang tight til someone else chimes in!
  14. What kit is your Old Crow? BTW, loving your work, you've put up a BUNCH lately!
  15. You say you have a bunch of parts of these...would you happen to have enough to cobble together another complete-or-nearly-complete trike? If so, would you be interested in trading on those parts? Or Selling? PM me if so. Thanks! And glad to hear you're back in the game!
  16. PM me this week, I may be interested in doing some trading, if I have anything you might need. My stash is 60% cars, 30% aircraft, and 10% misc. Lots of Star Trek stuff, but also other SciFi. Let's talk!
  17. I've always wondered how this old kit builds up. Isn't this the one you can often find in Mexican packaging, almost as common as US version?
  18. Needs that clipboard on the fender, a "field repair" on one of the missions. Nice work here.
  19. Love this little guy ever since I saw it in a documentary about Jack Northrup, called "The Wing Will Fly". Good stuff, and a clean build of this kit. Which kit (mfgr) is this?
  20. Love it! This idea could work well eith a slant-6, with the blower mounted at an opposing angle to the block for visual balance, putting the injecor stacks thru the hood at an angle - would have a real Tom Daniel-meets-Dave Deal feel to it.
  21. Man-o-man, when I was a kid, just getting "good" at building models, I would drool over pics of this in the Revell flyers that were stuck in some kit boxes. I thought this was the absolute definition of cool, but alas, it was one of those that remained out of reach. I never saw one in person, and the one time mom came across the kit in a department store, she reported back with the devastating news that sickens every eleven year old kid," ...too expensive." So, I stuck to cars, Aurora dinosaurs, movie monsters, and the occasional airplane. I am loving seeing this come together, and am digging the modernizing/upgrading you are doing. Keep up the good work!
  22. Very tasty color combo!
  23. Why not? What is most unlikely is keeping those old drum brakes instead of discs! Don't forget you need some place for "brain boxes" for the electronic side of that engine, so the firewall could be dressed in some appropriate pieces.
  24. Really coming along nicely; LOVE that color!
