This view has a certain appeal! Kind of a period hot rod look, just in the early stages of modifications.

Nice to see these old originals built up. Cool finds, for sure. Looking forward to your progress on these!

Crazy cool build, and so much to see! This has more color than an episode of 1966 Batman!
-
Shows the power of a good clean build. This is visually captivating to me, and that's no mean feat for a white car model! Beautiful red interior, sharp chrome and foil work, and sano engine and bay make this one shine! Well done, sir.

Oh my, that color is NICE! I gotta get some for a project I've got on the workbench. Sharp model! I dig these suicide machines.
-
Sharp! Digging that bright red.
-
This is a beauty! Nice clean build really brought that engine alive, as well as the rest of the car. Very well done.

Nice representation of a mild custom, and the gold is gorgeous! Well done.

I don't know, but the tall front end looks to be resulting from a hood that is too horizontally placed, if you see what I mean. The hood should fall from the cowl at a slightly steeper angle. As it is, they stretched the grille vertically to meet the high hood, making it look like a 1/24 model grille fitted to a 1/25 model. Fixable with a little plastic surgery and parts box or aftermarket grille, or fodder for a full custom! I need one of these.

I like the look of it, and wouldn't mind having it on a shelf. -

Good to get a second chance at having one or two of these! This, Quicksilver '60 wagon, and the Badman '55 are my earliest model car memories, and why I still love model cars. Thank you, Tom D., and thanks Atlantis for bringing this back. -

Love that engine bay! Nicely done, and looks right for the time. -
I especially like the front view: very wicked appearance. Excellent choice of wheels, too. Good job!

Looks mean! Well done. -
Plus 1 on the perfect color choice. Great looking model of one of my personal favorite big Chevrolets. Very well done.

SO cool, and so much modeling fun shown! Well done.
-
Really nice color choice; it shows off the gorgeous body lines so well. Great job!

Nicely done! I,too, am a big fan of the entire Deal's Wheels series. My first was the Glitter Bug, and I have an unbuilt in the stash, along with a few others. It is criminal what one would cost you now, and a pity that many can't experience the absolute fun of building these. Hope mine turn out nearly as good as your examples!

Very cool! How is the fit/finish of the Amodel kits? You're making this one look mighty nice. I like that they seem to favor odd subjects overlooked by most. -
Superb craftsmanship! Very attractive custom happening here. Thanks for the thorough post! Much to be learned from this.
