  1. This is/was the kind of show car that always irked me even as a kid. Hokey concepts that don't function, IE: all show no go, just didn't feel right to me as show CARS. CARS are something that you can drive, no matter how show-worthy. If you can't drive it or make it function, don't let it in the show.
  2. Nicely done! Looks good, and we rarely see this kit built. I'm bashing this one with an older one on the bench right now...
  3. This interior is really shaping up. Beautiful show car appearance.
  4. Chassis is looking sharp. Loving that green.
  5. That color was a great choice. One of my favorite kits, just for all the options!
  6. Looks good. How did you find the fit of the HB kit?
  7. Nice job; love the colors on Thermopylae.
  8. Great looking model; very well done.
  9. Very nice! What a nice assortment of personalized vehicles, and a high standard all around. Much to love, but the rag top Lincoln and black GTO both score high on the kool scale.
  10. Welcome to the forum! We have a wide variety of modeling subjects shown here, there is a section for non-automotive subjects, so show us what you're working on!
  11. Fantastic detail work and over all concept. Put a down-facing single point light source and you could get some cool moody street light pics.
  12. Agree wholeheartedly with Steven G. and CanCon. Less is more; the texture of a vinyl top is practically nil at 1/25 scale, but making simple, straight seams and proper trim are far more important than some over-complicated texture effects. I like Krylon semi-flat black shot in short bursts from a distance. If you get a little too dry, hit it with a slightly wetter burst.
  13. Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly does this mean?
  14. One of your nicest builds yet, and there have been many great looking racers from your bench! Doesn't hurt that it's a red Mopar. ? Well done.
  15. Another great example of what CAN be with a plain kit in the right hands! Great looking model, and plus 1 on the color choice; it looks perfect for the car!
  16. Very nice! Well done.
  17. Very similar (if not same) setup is found in AMT's older but common 57 Chevy with the optional 409:
  18. You captured the look! That dark blue is really attractive. The Hot Wheels World Race animation is creative, fun stuff.
  19. Very cool custom. I really like your use of subtle color for such a strong visual impact.
  20. Very nicely done, and was interesting and fun to watch your progress on this build. Fantastic results, but I'm especially impressed by the interior; your color choices and detailing really stand out.
  21. Great looking Chevelle! The old 1/24 Monogram kits are fun to build, and look the part. Well done.
  22. Love the under-hood details. Very well done.
  23. A very clean build, with very good work on the tiny raised letters and emblems, and what a great color for an El Camino.
