  1. Looking good!
  2. Ditto; thank you for the links. I'd seen the second one before, but the smooth-on video is much appreciated as well.
  3. Always liked the '66 kit, and to have it with the improved wheels, restored tonneau, modern decals, etc is very good news! ...and thanks, Snake!?
  4. Nicely done! We don't see many of these completed, but this should inspire a few more.
  5. As much as I love a good hot rod or custom, it is refreshing to see a quality stock build of these old gems. This is a real beauty. Well done.
  6. Your paint style is very effective here. Well done and fun!
  7. Very cleanly built bird! Nice job. What scale is this; hard to tell from pics, which is a testament to a quality build. The decals are particularly well-laid. Are they the kit decals? Some complain of Hasegawa decals being too delicate.
  8. Nice job, Interior work is especially sharp.
  9. Nice job! Very cool kit that still holds its own, and has probably been bought for parts to complete other kits as much as it has been bought to build out-of-the-box!
  10. I wasn't really sure what I was clicking on, but man, am I glad I did! That car ( and model) just oozes "coooool". We need an accessible kit of this car; what a beauty. Doesn't hurt a thing that you gave it a slick-as-glass red paint job, either. Outstanding work.
  11. This model represents everything I love about model cars! So very well done.
  12. Love the high riding, period perfect stance! Nice color, and the engine bay is just beautiful. Another home run!
  13. Nice build, and it looks especially nice blue on blue. Well done.
  14. Wicked beast of a car! Well done.
  15. Sharp, nicely detailed rod. Love that chassis shot!
  16. Those wheels , finished like you did, look very rugged and "road racer-ish". Very cool!
  17. Hello from KY! Very nice models, you have a definite style, and it's a good one. I also really like your presentation/photography style. I keep going back to that 65 Chevelle, it has a lot of character. Looking forward to seeing some more of your builds.
  18. That's more like it! Glad that worked out for you, and glad to know the resin caster has some integrity.
  19. Looks pretty dang good from here! Beautiful shade of green, I need to get some of that! Can't help but wonder why you didn't pull the wide black stripe down over the hood and deck lid? I think that would look "racy"!
  20. Looks just right! Nicely done.
  21. Great looking , clean modelling work. Well done.
  22. Really liking the silverish color against the top treatment. This is going to be sharp! Thoughts on wheels/tires?
  23. This has a true museum atmosphere about it. The treatment of every car and display is truly outstanding in the world of automobile "museums". Thanks so much to "roadhawg" for bringing it to our attention, and for the excellent photography. I need to take a pilgrimage there.
  24. Excellent choice to add color, looks like a fun project!
  25. Unless she wants her FIRST build to be her LAST build, don't tackle this one. It can be done, it's just not "first build" friendly. Is she firm on the 53-57 dates? The Monogram/Revell '59 Cadillac is a beautiful kit, detailed nicely, modern tooling, and one version even comes with the body molded in pink, and chassis parts are molded in a nearly black metallic looking plastic.
