  1. Hello from KY! Very nice models, you have a definite style, and it's a good one. I also really like your presentation/photography style. I keep going back to that 65 Chevelle, it has a lot of character. Looking forward to seeing some more of your builds.
  2. That's more like it! Glad that worked out for you, and glad to know the resin caster has some integrity.
  3. Looks pretty dang good from here! Beautiful shade of green, I need to get some of that! Can't help but wonder why you didn't pull the wide black stripe down over the hood and deck lid? I think that would look "racy"!
  4. Looks just right! Nicely done.
  5. Great looking , clean modelling work. Well done.
  6. Really liking the silverish color against the top treatment. This is going to be sharp! Thoughts on wheels/tires?
  7. This has a true museum atmosphere about it. The treatment of every car and display is truly outstanding in the world of automobile "museums". Thanks so much to "roadhawg" for bringing it to our attention, and for the excellent photography. I need to take a pilgrimage there.
  8. Excellent choice to add color, looks like a fun project!
  9. Unless she wants her FIRST build to be her LAST build, don't tackle this one. It can be done, it's just not "first build" friendly. Is she firm on the 53-57 dates? The Monogram/Revell '59 Cadillac is a beautiful kit, detailed nicely, modern tooling, and one version even comes with the body molded in pink, and chassis parts are molded in a nearly black metallic looking plastic.
  10. Excellent detail work, and thanks for sharing your process on this. Can't wait to see the outcome!
  11. That looks like a proper little wagon, and if it were real, I'd have one. It works! Well done.
  12. Nice clean build. The color is eye-catching, and suits the wagon well. Excellent work!
  13. Beautiful job on that Caddy kit. Love that Tamiya pearl green. Well done.
  14. Ditto on the color. It has that comic book feel, where deep black is always highlighted with blue. Perfect color of night in Gotham! Can't wait to see it all buttoned up.
  15. As is the Monogram '64 GTO. Different wheels, stock chassis, two four barrels with chrome stacks, etc..
  16. A Tim Boyd model with plug wires? Seldom seen!
  17. Great looking model of a great looking car!
  18. Very nice! It's hard to pick a favorite! Well done x 2.
  19. Right? It shouldn't take much to make a difference. I like how it makes nearly the entire wheel/tire visible - more aggressive looking!
  20. If that's the car in the picture above, the wheelbase may not be altered, but the wheel opening has been worked over. It has been enlarged, or at least raised up, no doubt to make tire changes easier. Note how the top of the opening is above the body line that used to extend back from the opening "lip".
  21. Maybe just shoot some clear on it to provide a safe decal base?
  22. Very nicely done. Perfect shade of blue that compliments the wood beautifully. Great job!
  23. I can't decide whether to laugh or cry! Excellent craftsmanship either way.
  24. That's just pretty! Got to find that color; it's a great color for classics.
  25. Gorgeous color for a '67! Well done.
