  1. Looks great, the Monogram GT radials are perfect on it.
  2. I took these pics at Goodguys several years ago. Next body style, but same concept.
  3. You have managed to obtain exemplary results in the undertaking of this Camaro project, enhanced in no small part by the additional efforts in both the vacuum plating of the modified and resin cast components, and the accurate placement of said components with regard to stance and wheel/tire placement. Also, are you an English teacher?
  4. That stance and wheel/tire placement is just perfect, unimprovable.
  5. In the AZ Biltmore spa parking lot. Diesel emblem in grille.
  6. Great trades with Paul Alflen and DrKerry, two stand-up guys.
  7. My boss in a speaker shop I worked at in the '80s had a Clenet just like that one, except in maroon. He kept it mint, waxed twice a month. The MG cab styling went well with the neoclassic treatment, much better than the Cougar/Mustang/Camaro/Tbird etc attempts that were too easy to spot the original car in. One that I saw was based on an '80s Nissan 300ZX, really surprising to see a Japanese car under all of that fiberglass.
  8. You hope it's acceptable? (Jürgen is just a bit modest) It is a museum piece, just an incredible transformation.
  9. Great save, and the color couldn't be more fitting.
  10. I've sold and bought tons of things on ebay, including Canada and overseas both ways, never got burned. Once my account was hacked and used to list a scam item, but that was mainly my fault for having the password 93cobra. Duh, learned that lesson quickly. Common sense reigns supreme anywhere online.
  11. So would I, that one's been overlooked in 1:25 forever. And it was a popular and winning car in the Monte Carlo rally; I think Ford fielded three of them, so a future race version is entirely doable.
  12. The Comet has a five inch longer wheelbase than the Falcon. But a '65 Comet Caliente convertible would be an easy sequel.
  13. Brings back memories, I built that kit when it was brand new. I made the headlights work with mini model railroad bulbs and a battery pack in the trunk. I wish I had kept it, it got tossed like so many others.
  14. Why, that's clearly a 1914 Abbott-Detroit Model F 7-Passenger Touring Car.
  15. Insane! It's what the Poison Pinto should have looked like.
  16. One of the nicest looking builds yet on that kit. Great job on the decals, that upward sweep at the front drives me nuts.
  17. My Photobucket still works because I am a paying member, so I still use it, although not for anything important now - because I know they will send me that pleasant little notice about the 400 bucks a year nonsense when my term runs out, whenever that is. Until then, all photos I post here are through the MCM internal image hosting feature, and I'll wait to see which other service bubbles to the top of the recommendations before I move everything to it and start restoring threads on other sites.
  18. Very unusual and nice, great execution. Looks wicked.
  19. I really like the direction on this, Mavericks make such neat little street machines.
  20. Betcha that had a wee bit of tire rub.
  21. HL doesn't buy all of the reissues, they never stocked the Pinto wagon as an example. And I was waiting for that one.
  22. I love original art box art builds, and that one is one of the closest I've seen. Like a three dimensional representation of a bygone era.
  23. Thanks for the link Bill, just ordered a set. No idea what they will go on, but something eventually. Plus, I have very little self-control when it comes to buying cool aftermarket parts that I may or may not need.
