  1. R&R makes a 65, and Speed City does a 66, but I can't think of anyone who does a 64. Did JoHan mebbe do one? I can't remember, but I THINK they may have.
  2. The Roadrunners Great grampa,eh???? Cool!
  3. So wats it gonna be,Dude??? 1930's cute coupe, er wat?????
  4. This is a labor of love, and it shows. You brother is truely an artiste! I wonder how a 25th scale model of this would sell?
  5. Oo, Oo, Harry, I FINALLY KNOWS wat this is!!!!!!!
  6. Personally Tom, i was just wonderin if ya got ENUFF rivits in that rascal!!! Jus kiddin, it looks FANTASTIC!!!! It comein out GREAT!
  7. Occasionally you can find them at Aco, or True Value Hardware stores. I always tend ta look around in the toy or hobby sections of smaller store. You never do know wat you'll come across!
  8. That kit is so ratty, caz it's popped from the original 70 MPC mold. It was never an AMT kit, until AMT got bought by round two, and their group. It's not a bad kit at all, I've built ALOT of them, just gotta think in 1970 terms! Those were WAYYYYYY before we got detailed kits like we get today! It's fun build, theres even a 72 kit out, so WHY did whoever buy a resin conversion kit?
  9. There ya have it, DRAG /MAD quality speaks for itself! you WILL NOT be dissapointed, TRUST us!!!!
  10. Yeah, your right on that one,Mike. I'll see if I can't get Kris to post one for you's to see.
  11. Guys, I just picked mine up from Kris Morgan, overt MAD/DRAG. It's a copy of an Original Promo, and it is VERY well done. It comes with the body, w/hood molded in, Vacu-formed glass, Interior bucket with Bench seat, Dash and steering wheel, Chromed Front and Rear bumpers and tailights, hubcaps and a Promo Chassis. It's molded in a VERY smooth white plastic like resin, not unlike that used by some of the other members of DRAG.It comes pretty complete, all you gotta do is add your tires and axles. Get ahold of Kris for additional details like price and availability. I think theres one on E-Bay right now too.
  12. This year, at the Annual Detroit Auto-Rama, I didn't even really bother to go do my walk about. What I DID notice was that yes, there were ALOT of the same cars there as had been there the years(s) before, and they looked the same to me. Maybe Ed is right about the changes that must be done, but they sure LOOKED like they were the same car. It's like that in the model world too i guess. The owner likes it enough to keep showing it. Maybe he DOES change something on it. Who knows?
  13. Where'd ya get the body from? I have one of those done by "Mike's Miniature Motors" I got a nice cowl hoodscoop from ED Fluck Jr, now i just gotta BUILD it!!!
  14. Actually, I think Dave was one of our former brothers who left because of all the B/S that goes on here.
  15. Nope, I couldn't find the turtle neither. PLEASE shoot it again, caz it IS nicely done, but jus a tad fuzzy. Or mebbe it's just my eyes, as I am gettin older! mIGHT make it easier ta find said Turtle!
  16. Yeah. When I was workin, I'd have ALL kindsa ideas rollin around in my head, so when I'd get home, after dinner,I'd go down into my "model room" an start on my idea. It would usually be right after dinner(about 5) and I'd loose all track of time! My wife would finally come down and say"It's 11 o clock hon, I'm goin to bed now" I'd look up at my clock, an sure enough, I'd been down there for 6 hours and NEVER noticed it!
  17. They were just on Retro TV. Mickey had to drive the Monkeemobile against a Cobra Daytona Coupe, caz the "Good guys" Manta Ray had been saboutaged by the "Bad guys". It was fun to see them ACTUALLY moveing on their own again. Every time I've seen ANY of those cars they were on static display only! Rest In Peace, Davey.
  18. Caz they're OVER 40 years old, and they ARE popular with us older modelers who still want to build the cars we built in our youth. At least it's that way for me.
  19. SAme here Terry. I got 'em in about the same condition too. If ya want em, ya got em.
  20. Dam, bro, now you REALLY ROLLIN!!!! Looks GREAT!
  21. Hey Roy, Welcome! Sorry Bro, I can't answer your question either, but Jacen IS right, SOMEONE here has the answer! Guys? Help a new brother out???
  22. Will they all/only be cars from Oz??? Not that it makes much difference, I LOVE this kinda racein, but It WOULD be nice to see some good ol AMERICAN steel out there!!!!
  23. Zac, ALL the guys here, from Oz can do INCREDIBLE stuff with plastic. I've often wondered if there IS somethin in the water!!! Maybe livein in paradise helps. Our Brother Stump(Greg Armour) certainly lives there, caz I've see pictures!!!!!! seems like ALL you guys got "mad skills" ,to coin a phrase.
  24. WOW is that lil chort SWEET!!!! I'm ALWAYS just amazed at how well you Euro guys can build OUR cars! Geeze, you'd think you grew up in Southern Cali, fer pete's sake!!! As the Good Dr. would say, That's REALLY SWEET EYE CANDY! THANK YOU for posting it!!!!!
