IF it strips BLACK paint of ANY brand it's WORTH the price, just don't get crazy with it. Gregg, If you filter it out before each use will it last longer? Does it evaporate fast? PP, CSC, Westleys, simple green, OVEN CLEANER, NOTHING I've tryed YET has EVER given a satisfactory result when I've tried to strip BLACK paint from old models. NOT even BRAKE fluid. This may be worth it to me. Thanks for turnin us on to it!!!!! :D

No. The 62 has the "Formal" roofline. NO Grand Prix's had the "Bubble" roofline of the Catalina. It wasn't offered.

The Grand Prix was a sedan'd roofed Catalina. The Cat had that beautiful "Bubble roof" and the Grand Prix had the standart two door "Formal" rear roofline. YES, they were two different rooflines on the same shorter(than a Bonneyville)body.

I went and checked some kits and it LOOKS like it MIGHT be from a 70 Chevy Impala,by AMT. The 71 MPC Impala's dash looks similar but it looks a bit longer and flatter. I'd bet it was the 70 AMT dash.

Don't let that stop you. It's plastic, you can MAKE it fit.

About 15 years ago, Franklin mint offered 24th scale Harley's. I got about 10 of them (the ones I liked) at about 48 bucks a pop!!! NOW Maisto comes out with THESE, at about 3 bucks a peice and man are they NICE for the price!!!! Oh well, good things come to those who wait. I shoulda waited!!!! (I STILL like mine more though )

I would imagine if you bought a kit from a Japanese Dealer, they would pay the importfee and just add it to the price. Why not just order from HobbyLinkJapan and pay their price. It would still be cheaper than importing it yourself.
