Is THAT the engine that comes in this kit? I was gonna buy it just for the hood(I want one in 25th scale) but that motor looks really snazzy!!!!!! There's a green one on the latest issue of Musclecar Review that I'd like to try an build.

WOW, If I were a custom guy, I could see at least 2 good ideas from that mock up right there! Don't build customs, but i DO enjoy looking at them! This one looks pretty different.

This is a nice kit,Chuck. I got two of them when they were first reissued. Started one as a Batmobile, but I think now, with Polar Lights's Batmobile, I think I'll just try to custom it out to my tastes. That Polar Lights kit is TOO cool!

ANY 289/302 block can pass as a 351 Windsor if you want it too. Like Chuck said, measuring them wouldn't be noticable. From the OUTSIDE, they're virtually identical.

Guys, he's only 12 so he needs straight answers. Lane, the starter should be mounted lengthwise on the block, so the bendix gear can engage the flywheel, which is bolted to the crankshaft, and spins the engine, allowing it to start. I have never used the stock dual 4bbl intake on that kit, so I don't know whats wrong with it.Hth.

Just put your stuff in boxes an put it all away for a while. If you get rid of it all, then you will pay up the wazzoo to replace all your stuff. and by then, WHO knows how much it'll cost ya to get back in!!! just step back, take a break, and C'mon back in when your ready, the water'll still be nice!

Kris is right. Some cleaners CAN'T penetrate the top color, so,if you take some of the paint off down to bare plastic, it gives the cleaner a "foothold" so to speak, and it'll begin to eat thru the paint UNDERNEATH the top color. Give it a day or two to sit in it, and it should work.

By alll means, Go for it,Nick. Kenny's castings are as good or better than the factory's, and EASILY hold up to Modelhaus or R&M of M's castings, he's THAT good!!!

Purchased both his 71 Scamp and 70 GTX and they BOTH were PERFECT!!! He IS a TOP NOTCH caster, and you can buy from him in good faith and with confedence!!!

WELCOME Alan!!! All you have to do is show up at the Dearborn Ice Skateing Center, On Ford RD. One mile East of Southfeild freeway in Dearborn, On the 3rd Friday of EVERY month, at 7;00! The meeting actually starts at 7, but we get there early to talk, swap, or sell kits. Alot of our members are vendors or resin casters.
