  1. It's been re issued? I got this rascal about 10 years ago for 10 bucks! It's cute!
  2. I DON'T buy ANY kits anymore WITHOUT a coupon, I WILL NOT pay 25 bucks for a kit. I've never had a problem there, other than them bein EXTREMELY low on stock. Micheals accepts JoAnne's Fabrics coupons at face value, so I use them too. Been doin it for so long I refuse to part the prices that the companys want. If I can't get it at a reasonable price, I won't. Haven't picked up the Mobius Tractor trucks because of the price!
  3. Thanks guys! Yeesh, I was there an I didn't see this! Should look around better, i musta passed by this and didn't even know it! Was this on Saturday or Sunday? Anyways It looks GOOD! MAYBE it could be the seed for a new tool 69 Mustang convertable? Cool!
  4. There's a Shelby Convertable in a KIT? In 25th scale? By WHO?????
  5. THANK YOU!!! I have quite a few Trumpeter aircraft kits! They are BEAUTIFUL kits! Your 109 is lookin GREAT!!!
  6. You did a GREAT job on a difficult kit. Yes, the instructions DO mention building the kit WITHOUT the fittings and lines to get a most pleaseing model, but the guys ARE right, theres just TOO MUCH nice detail under that rascal to button it ALL up! GREAT job!
  7. Those of us who were fortunate enough to have had REAL autoshops in High School with GREAT teachers who cared about us, were at the advantage. IF you had a Dad who was ALSO into cars, you were REALLY set! I did my first valve job on a 52 Chevy six. at 11. Dad watched me and approved of every step. When i got into high school, i rebuilt both a Studebaker Turbo 327 and a Porche 917 rear suspension in the 12th grade. Today, Nope, the hardest things I do are just bolt on stuff, reprogrammers, headers, cold air kit, coil, plugs ,wires,etc.. I DO NOT mess with the computer or electricals, other than the simple stuff, installing a coil, like on my 95 Impala SS, or spliceing in the Jet Power reprogramer. NONE of the newer stuff apeals to me. I can STILL rebuild a Holley, or Carter, OR Rochester, and I'll do a ford alumipot carb if I can't replace it. Can still rebuild and set up a distributor too. Yeah, I'm old.
  8. Just saw this again, and let me tell you, NO WAY does the original 70 Charger COMPARE with the Missing Link kit! I have them BOTH now, and the ML kit is STATE of the ART! The original 70 kit is an ORIGINAL 70 kit, 50 yr old Technology! The ML body is taken from the newer REVELL KIT, SO IT is a much nicer looking body. The ML kit is perfect, the original 70 MPC kit has dimples in the upper rear quarters, near the ends, between the rear wheelwells and rear bumper. which are ALSO in their 68 AND 69 Charger kits!(I checked) which MUST be filled to get the nice smoothness of the Revell/ML kit. It goes for 70 bucks, comes with TWO optional grilles/taillight panel, stock or R/T versions and complete interior, and hood. All the chrome parts are VERY nicely plated and it fits the Revell kit LIKE A GLOVE!!! GREAT kit for the price! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!!
  9. Mike, I have that kit in Marina Blue. It's a nice kit, it has dogleg door hinges, and the engine is a top only type of one peice engine cover, but for what I paid for it, I think it came out pretty nice. It IS a nice lookin model when finished.
  10. Nick, with Ray' s passing, I don't know IF you'll be ABLE to get anymore R&R stuff! You can call Steve Kohler at Star models and ask him IF he can still get anymore of Rays castings and ask HIM what he thinks of the castings your lookin for, he will give you a STRAIGHT answer as to the difficulty or ease of assembly on a particular kit.
  11. Scott, If you HEAR them calling out "Bring out your dead" or they're pilling the ant bodies up on carts to burn them, you MIGHT still have a ANT bubonic plague. Let em go, they'll all die out.
  12. One of our members USED to make them. I have a few. Shucky USED to make them, but I'm not sure if they're still in his product lines.
  13. BEAUTIFUL,job! I just bought one of these VERY nicely built up for only TEN bucks at Saturdays Toledo NNL's!
  14. Be aware THAT body has a CHOPPED roof, as it was just tranplanted directly from the Monogram kit. You CAN'T built a stock Panel sedan WITHOUT raiseing the roof BACK to stock height. I do have this body, and it IS very nicely done!
  15. You might could save some front engine compartment room by mounting the blower case DIRECTLY to the front of the Crankshaft, instead of useing the forward pulley mounts on the blower. This would give you ALOT of extra room, and I personally, have never seen a front mounted blower installed in that manner. They usually are mounted directly to the FRONT of the engine block itself.
  16. What scale is it? Ron Andrews of RMR casts one too.
  17. Me 3! Izzatta chopped out customed Zephyr??? Jeeze thatsa NICE lookin ride!
  18. WoW! I've always said an escalade EXT was nuthin but a glorified GMC! This just proves it! GREAT conversion Grzegorz, I DO believe IF Cadillac made one of these rascals, the rich cattle ranchers in Texas would have them!
  19. No big deal,John, I believe ya. I've also purchased parts from Vaughn and he's a pretty nice guy to boot! His casting work is VERY good, and he carries some VERY nice products.
  20. Nobody remembers "The Gallant Men" Or Robert Goulet in 'Blue Light"? Or one of my all time favorites, up there with the "Twilight Zone", "The Outer Limits". The Episode "It Crawled Out of the Woodwork" immediately comes to mind.
  21. That Merc is a work of art! NOTHING but the BEST from Juha!
  22. I THINK it's out of Sweden, or Norway. I've heard the name, andJuha Airio's name comes to mind with that also.
  23. That's caz Kenny KNOWS ya WON'T back stab him,Kev. Kenny an you are alotta like, ya BOTH got scruples. And your BOTH hellatious casters!!!!
