  1. Good choice on the colors. They look really close. Great job on the paint and decals!
  2. Just got an email from Megahobby that they have the paint in stock, available to ship the next day. $2.99 for a 14 ml can & $8.99 for a 100 ml spray can.
  3. OK. I thought they mixed when ordered. I haven't bought any in while.
  4. The blue code is 2089 at MCW.
  5. Model Car World has the yellow and blue. Look in the list for Mike Curb. The numbers are different from the Wrangler colors. Love the pics of Dale and the cars too.
  6. Looks like you did a fantastic job. Well done.
  7. My mistake. Guess I didn't click the right link. Thank you Casey.
  8. I did and didn't find the answer.
  9. Anyone know what year the AMT Fruehauf tanker is based on?
  10. Wow, incredible detailing and craftsmanship! Inside and out, it is beautiful! Well done!
  11. I'm really liking this info. Before this thread, I had never realized how much the older cars had visual elements of each other. The newer cars(see Lunajammer's 12 car post pic), also including the SUVs and now the square front end trucks, can't be separated except by the badging. I saw this when we bought a Chevy Equinox a couple of years ago.
  12. Excellent tutorial Steve. Thank you. Your work is definitely top shelf!
  13. Sharp build. Very nicely done.
  14. Didn't mean to confuse everyone. Guess I should have stayed out of it. I'm not as knowledgeable as the rest of you.
  15. I was referencing the 1968 & 1969 pictures used by the OP. The second year model is the best view to show that the roof ends at an angle and has a small flat area before the backend of the car.
  16. Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like a '72 roof was kitbashed on an earlier version. The '68 & '69 have a small step behind the back of the roof that this one doesn't have.
  17. Great build! I also thought this was a great scheme back then. My grandkids love this movie too.
  18. I did this back at the end of November. The difference is I asked if he would wait until I got paid before I bid(6 days from the end of the auction). I have bought from him several times and he had no problem doing this for me. I buy and sell a little on the 'bay and I am willing to work with someone who wants something. Unfortunately I have had to have Ebay step in to not have to pay the fees because of nonpayment. You have good buyers and bad. The bad ones are the ones that get blocked. Fool me once etc.
  19. Inkscape is a free vector graphics program. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of Corel but might be a way to create your own vector graphics. If you have never used vector before, there is a huge learning curve, at least there was for me because I was used to Photoshop and the two are completely different. Hope this helps.
  20. Mack, she turned out beautifully! Very well done!
  21. Wow, that looks great!
