  1. I don't get people fascination with wanting to shop pics like this. What is wrong with posting a pic of the real thing? Wow, you can do a crappy job of making something that never existed. Whoowee!! Rant over.
  2. Great job on your paint and decals. It will look fantastic when it is finished.
  3. I'd never heard of a spotted lanternfly and had to look it up. Sorry you are having to put up with an invasive pest.
  4. I hadn't thought about them hopping out. My booth has wire mesh on the bottom of it. I need to cut a piece of cardboard so their feet don't go thru and get stuck. I'm not worried about them falling out because of the lift up door.
  5. I hadn't been out to the garage in about 3 weeks until I went out last Saturday. This is what I found(top picture). I checked again today and I saw this(bottom picture). They are Carolina Wren hatchlings. It takes about 2 weeks for them to leave the nest. I guess I can wait 2 weeks to paint. Ah, the sacrifices we have to make for modeling cars.?
  6. Excellent job. I've got decals to do one myself. Hope it turns out half this good.
  7. I was. I remember getting a Sherman tank, a Stuka dive bomber and a Suzuki motorcycle that was not beginner friendly. But it was always fun checking the mail to see if I had a kit and then the fun of opening it to see what was inside.
  8. I like the one with the big sleeper. I have never liked a small sleeper although a lot of them were used. Just my opinion.
  9. Ah, I see you have taken the red pill.?
  10. I need help picking the right size for the long section of chain and the hook in this pic and the best place to buy them. Appreciate all help in advance.
  11. Immaculate as usual John. Your models are truly a work of art.
  12. Excellent work and a greatly detailed ride! I have a question: did the window net come with the kit or is it an aftermarket part? Thanks.
  13. Congrats on the trophies. Your models are outstanding.
  14. There was a styrene version but it was 1/32 scale(1992 issue) and had stickers instead of waterslide decals. I have one packed away in the stash somewhere. It might be possible to scan the stickers and upscale to 1:25 then print on decal paper.
  15. I ran across this vehicle I have never seen before and thought I would share. https://www.thedrive.com/sheetmetal/12603/the-forgotten-steinwinter-supercargo-is-unlike-anything-on-the-road-today The article gives some history and a few pics of it.
  16. What truck cab is this and was it ever kitted in plastic? Does someone make one in resin? I want it to pair with the auto transport trailer. All help is appreciated in advance.
  17. You did a fine job with that, Steven. It'll look very realistic painted and installed.
  18. It measures 1/4" outer diameter so it's larger than you'd want. Lots of other good ideas of how to make them here though.
  19. I guess I should have posted a pic. Here's the one's I'm talking about. Stretched out it's about 4".
  20. Steven, there are party straws that have extra long flexible elbows that should work for that. Go to Amazon and search Colorful Extra Long Flexible Bendy Party Disposabl Drinking Straws, 100 Pieces Paint 'em flat black and you'll be good to go. Hope this helps.
  21. Great looking build. I've got one in the stash waiting to be built.
  22. Years ago if I had vinyl or rubber tires that didn't want to look seated on the rims, I cut a small piece of paper towel and rolled it up like a cigarette and stuffed it around the inside of the tire to fill it out to my liking. Just a thought.
  23. Incredible job on both. Love the engine bay of the truck.
  24. Very nice build.
  25. Thanks Anthony. I wasn't sure but it made sense being from a truck driving school. Thank you.
