  1. Yes. MPC tooled up a separate Toronado for 1967. I have 1, it differs from the AMT/Jo-Han in that the underhood is a single piece, and has the front fender marker lights, that the AMT issued Jo-Han does not. also MPC used the same metal axle up front as in the rear MPC Updated the Toronado for 68, then 69. After that I think was the Mannix Roadster, then the "Californian" Custom That one was recently re-issued in the Retro-Deluxe series. Yes I would love to see Stock versions available again, but.........
  2. Only the Matador might be able to be re-issued, as that WAS an AMT kit from the start. The 1/25 AMX and Javelin kits were AMT Boxed Jo-Han kits, and likely were scrapped back in the 80's or 90's at the latest AMT also boxed the 70 Olds Toronado. Again Permanently lost. As a 1961 model myself, YES, I would love to see that entire listing offered again, but..............
  3. Actually, Some of the other issues of this Vanagon have had the Second grill (Water Cool grill) as a Decal. Now it is finally a styrene part. I have the original Orange Joker Camper issue, "Krankentransporter"(Ambulance), Fire Department "ELW" U.N Bus And this New 'Pizza Boy' issue. Yes this kit was offered as the "Magnum PI" Island Hoppers Bus WAY back when I think the vent in the rear roof pillars should be filled in if you build it as a water cooled version. Now.......Will we see that Styrene Secondary grill offered in later versions of this kit???? I traded 2 of the original camper to get a sealed Ambulance. I now have 2 more Ambulance kits, 1 sealed inside and 1 started but incomplete. I have 2 of the ELW. both complete unstarted, but 1 missing the instructions. The only difference in the ELW and standard Bud is the placement of the second seat. (Lead/Front bench) It is reversed facing a table and the third seat. The 2 benches are included in this kit so a standard bus can be built I also have one of the second issue of the Westfalia Joker (White over blue built on the boxart Can you tell I like the Vanagon?
  4. I have the "Street Sleeper" 65 GTO kit. Most parts were deleted from the kit. I am glad this version was issued before the kit was butchered into the Dirt Racing issue. Mine came with the paint (Testor's can size) But did not have the stock parts
  5. can the caps be printed separately, or with Stock rims vs. the customs rims shown?? I don't care for those "Rubber-band" type tyres!!
  6. But..... How Much?? I have not seen these for less than $50. each. and most at $75.++
  7. I would Definitely love a Suburban!!!
  8. What happened to the 1/32 56 Buick Customized kit?? That 1 is shown in the catalog, but I have not seen it out yet. Also wondering about the MoPar 62's!! Have the Newport convert. would like the others too
  9. Are we getting two new versions of this rampdeck or just one?? This thread lists it as a 69, And a new thread shows a 70 now coming out shortly. Whichever, I do want at least one version of this truck.
  10. Been doing a little cutting on mine. Front axle is getting Working steering added. Did that on ALL the other Moebius pickup kits, so...
  11. I built several of these kits back when. I did not have trouble with any of them. Even have a 56 Nomad kitbashed from THREE kits (started this BEFORE Monograms 56!) Revell 56 Sedan, & 57 Nomad parts, plus AMT 55 nomad parts Need to dig that one out again
  12. Got 1 coming myself. Along with a '65 Longbox I will now have 1 of each year 65 through 72 plus the New tow truck
  13. I figured that. No need to tool up a different ramp bed. Likely the 69 in Prototype/Fullsize pics was the first they could get pics of with a 69 grill.
  14. I built that Sears set WAY Back When!! Got it NEW at the time through my OLD Sears Catalog desk storefront here in Town. Painted her in 7th grade shop class. (Graduated high school 1979--you do the math) Been a while, but have seen the second decal sheet as I was looking through those for something I needed Likely been 15-20 years though
  15. I had a few of these kits. I loved them. I have the Sears set, Yes, it was the 2 separate kits taped or wrapped together with the Sears decals incuded. Each kit had the decals, so you got 2 complete sheets. I also have the K-Mart and Pepsi sets I never got the Wrecker, but would still Love to find that one!!!!
  16. Yes, I too would love to see the 67 & 68 Galaxies as well as the 62 I had TWO of the 61 Styline when it was first reissued. I did not care it was curbside. Infact, I have 4 of the curbside 63 Nova wagon, (Only 1 full detail version) 3 EACH of the 65 & 68 GTO's, and I Just got 1 of the Original annual 60 Ford Galaxie Sunliner convertible I WILL buy those kits!! I do wish Convertible versions would be included, but I can always do that myself!! Got at least 4 done or in progress. 58 Impala, 64 Impala, 59 Buick, and Modern tool 58 EDSEL Pacer not to mention the 64 & 65 GTO wagons I showed a few years ago. And yes, I am waiting for the 60 Chevy Wagon kit. LOVE Wagons!!!!!!!
  17. Well, I got the Model King issue 69 Shortbox, but it has the same caps as all other kits in the series. The biggest difference in the 69 kit is the in-line 6 engine. (The 72 Sport Custom is also a shortbox) The Mercury kit has Different caps on it than the Fords. Are those the design I am looking for to use on Foam 127?? I now have the 66 4x4 through the 72 Sport Custom!! The only ones O don't have yet are the 2 65's, Stepside and longbox smoothside, Model King 70, 67 350 Rampdeck. I don't know if there are others out yet, but I am Still awaiting ordering info on the Tow Truck and 71/72 250 4x4
  18. Anything Police, Fire, etc?? I am trying to make Wagons out of some GTO kits so could use the AMT 65 or Revell 66 Chevelle Malibu wagon kits I could look at the Police or Rescue versions of AMT's Chevy van. Never had the chance to find one when they were reissued in the 'Retro-Deluxe" series recently What about one of the Lindberg Coca-Cola kits. There were only 3 that I know of, the Dodge A100 and Now AMT 34 Ford Pickups and the ex-IMC Dodge L600 plus box trailer. Can you get me a list of what you have extras of?? I prefer stock, but do like Oddball items too. I have 1 Fujimi Bus and 1 "Decotora" truck kit What about Paper kits?? I am looking for the Ripper Works Tatra GTC (Kit # 51) Or Z-Arts USA School bus The School bus use to be only $10.oo but are now $45.oo in the US. I am looking at other websites that import to the US for cheaper prices I have pictures of US Military Halftracks turned into Brush Fire trucks see what you have and let me know
  19. Belvedere is gone, both Dodges are still available as are the 2 Falcon Altered wheelbase kits from the California Drag Combo sets I bought those for the 64 Galaxie since they were only $8.oo more than the Craftsman Galaxie alone Plus it was nice to get the trailer too
  20. Also a help to me. Looks like I build the 68 250 with the 67 grill but have to find a 69 kit for correct hubcaps Anymore pics of OLD/original L.A. County Foam 127 out there??
  21. I still have all 3 of these available I do not have internet at home so do not get to check in every day. I can add 2 of the Altered Wheel base 64 Falcon from the California Drag Combo kit. My WalMart had those So I chose the]se over the Galaxie Craftsman kit $8.oo difference made that an easy choice I would accept the AMT Chevy Van in Fire Rescue or Police issue if that helps. Hope some one takes me up on this trade offer.
  22. I think they may be lost. The website link gave me a 404 error message (Not Found) I too would love a few of these as I now have 5 of the 6 years of this series Ford Pickup kit
  23. I have 3 of the Ford pickups, with 2 more on the way. The 3 I already have at home are the 67 Service box, 68 F250 and ??Sport Custom shortbox this one shows a black and white truck on the box I am thinking of putting the service box on the 250 rather than the 67 F100 I need Good pictures of the Foam rig (Foam 127) from Emergency Iknow the grill and front bumper are white not chrome and think the Non-plated rear bumper in the 250 is more accurate for this build as well. the 2 I have just ordered are the 70 4x4 and first issue 71. I too am waiting for the wrecker to become available.
  24. Maybe Police, Fire, etc. Convertibles, though I can do that myself. I am trying to do some Wagons out of GTO kits, And would love to do one out of a 64 Cutlass kit since I have at least 4 each of the Coupe/442 and Convertible
  25. If you are still interested in the trade, let me know. which kit you want. Red box art A990 Dodge, Blue boxart streetable A990, or the Plymouth Belvedere. Sorry for not getting back earlier. Dan
