I still have some of those Oldies I buolt Back then, But Two I Wish I did still have MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE Coronet Convert!!! & Vampire Machine 70 Impala Convert!! Have the grill from the Impala, NOTHING from the M:I Coronet! I think I have a 67/68 Chrysler 300 and a similar issue Cadillac Convert, as I have some of the Hubcaps from them that were in the old Toy box from my old bedroom I am not sure where many of the models went when we moved in 71. Would love to find the Complete builts of my Wacky Racer's kits. I have most of Penelope Pitstop's Compact Pussycat, but Not Dick Dasterdly's Mean Machine! Also had 4 of the AMT All Star 1/32's, but Not sure of some Have the glue-Bomb's of the 63 Vette & Avanti I did back then, but,..... Wish I could remember the other 2 Was a Cereal Mail in offer!! Another was a Fireboat from Tony The Tiger (I THINK that is where I ordered it from!!) I do have the upper deck piece, but Nothing else So how did I save the Turista Turismo, El Ranchero Grande & Boondock Bomber builds???? I have seen many here call these Craftsman kits, But the Turista was the complete kit With Engine!!! Maybe Some of the Customizing parts were deleted, but, it was NOT a Curbside/craftsman type kit!!! Always thought the Dual-Quad aircleaner was 2 piece, but instructions I have seen from Original Annual sow it as One piece!! I believe we got the Boondock Bomber just after seeing the Pilot episode of ADAM-12 Big scene in that was the Pursuit if a 59 Buick!! We also got the red, & Police versions of Husky's Matchbox size 59 Buick too!!!!

F60 Fronts!?? WHY So SMALL??? I built that kit back then and Fronts were G70"s!! Will Have to change that on any I get!!!!!! Same with the last issue of the Daytona, AND Rev's 68/69 Chargers F series tires look SMALL in the wheel wells!!! They Have ,or at least Had, the G70's as late as the early 2000's The 72 Chevy Cheyenne came with them!!!!! I do still want at least 1 But Will trade out the front tires!!!!!

I Just Can't see paying $4-10.oo for Less that a Half Once of color!!!!!! And Yes, I use emery boards Not just on parts, but on broken finger nails too!!!!! I Have told people asking that they are Car Paint for Models, and they accept that -
1/32 Mack Super-Liner conversion
Edsel-Dan replied to Bennyg's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I Like the Idea, but would be hard pressed to join in. You are correct in that the Monogram/Revell R does have the Sleeper cast as part of the cab I had to fill in the rear of the cab when I bashed one with the Pumper kit from them I removed the sleeper to use on another project. -
I thought that option was still in the Blue ertl issue I converted to a Convertible Way Back when. I Do remember it I had a Early issue that still had the Styline style parts, Display spotlights, etc .That one definitely had the wire axle for the front if you did not want to make the working steering I have a few of those Rubber Firestone Darlington Gum Dipped tires I am using 6 on the 65 Chevy Stepside kit I am using the Model King Mini Motor Home body on. I only had 1 show cracking. a couple were sanded to Bald/Slick status, and NOT usable for the pickup!! I got the first of those on a Built Original issue of the second tool 58 Impala. I think the Original issue of their 53 F-100 had them too Not sure what other kits of that time had them

Two of the better Parts sellers are Vintage Model Parts, and Floyd 426 RT They both start the parts low. But Yes they do go HIGH many times!! I have bought Many parts from Floyd. Got a 62 Galaxie Convedrtible box with some parts. Only Bid!! I don't care about the Custom parts, But I got the Chrome tree with FOUR Mint Stock Hubcaps/Wheel Covers!!!!! I have a Turista Turismo that Needs those!!!! I have 3 Fender Ornamenbts, and 7 Dog-Dish caps for the 63 F-100 All from Floyd, and all at LOW cost!! I have lost the hood for a 61 Bonneville MANY times from Both sellers as they Never stay below $15.oo or so I believe I can get a Resin one from Modelhaus for less than Half that!!!! I will still watch evilbay You CAN get a Decent, even GREAT price on that Hard to replace part. You just have to hit the Correct auction!! I have 6 BOXED Aurora ALF 900 Pumpers All bought for less that $35.oo each And at least 3 of those have Extra parts!! I think I have 2 Complete Extra Cabs between all 6 kits Yes Many have Loose Parts, But NONE were Incomplete!!! Also I got a 65 Galaxie Convertible in a box lot of Builts. Paid $20.oo something for the Lot!! As every one here knows, Set your Price, and Laugh at the Fool that pays More than you want to!!!

I have the "Elegance Srires" issue of this GTO Yes Molded in Yellow And with Electric Blue Windows!! It could Not be built Stock out of the box!!! Rims were "Johnson Bridged Hub Mags" only (That is what they are labeled on the box!!) Also Stock exhaust manifolds were not included Only the custom Headers. I took the stock parts from a Tan plastic Ertl issue Then decided to turn that one into the Safari Wagon so had to get another to replace the parts I took for the Wagon conversion!!!! I am not sure how I will complete the Elegance issue It still has the sunvisors on the windshield header, so a Good convertible is possible here, while All after have lost them after the Modified Stocker wreck!! Interior is Not as well engraved as the original either. It is usable, but could be better

I have NO way to buy from Russia!! If I need to Mail payment it would be a US Postal Money Order. Otherwise, I pay Cash at checkout!!! I have NO credit card, nor will I ever again use pay-the-bay/Preypal I have told the stiry before, but guess I need to again. I won 2 built models, 62 Thunderbird, & 72 Road Runner about 6-7 years ago. Friend paid with pay-the-bay One MONTH after winning, I sent a message to the seller ONLY reply I would EVER get stated her husband had Just returned from Hospital, and would get them shipped to me shortly, as she had No idea about models. Another Month and still NO models I sent another message. This time NO reply I filed the claim, with evilbay & pay-the-bay Within the next month My claim case was Close with NO action, and seller Closed their account Had I used Postal Money Order, I would have received either my Money back, the models, or BOTH!!!!! The seller would also have been charged with Mail fraud and Theft Too!!!!! Pay-The-Bay/preypal has NO way of enforcing that!!!!! And NO guarantee of refund, or purchase being sent!!!!! That is why I MUST find a US seller/Store that stocks these kits!!!!! -

I have seen a few of this company's kit I like, but so far Only From Russian sellers Wish a US based seller would stock them Especially at That price -
As far as I remember looking at them they are the Same kit Minor differences in Decals only I also have the Penski Set less the Van body and some other parts of it And built an Original Separate Penski issue of the Nascar Way Back When!!!! Also the Same kit just different decals
-
For the Most part Yes all but the "Woody: issue Can be built Stock however, since this kit is based off the Coupe/Sedan, the tail lights are incorrect. Most Deliveres had One tail light on the left side. The Temporary Twin the the other mag showed how to correct the kit The builder used a second fuel filler tube as the tail light Evergreen or plastruct (or sprue) rod can be used inplace of the kit part Fill in the car tail lights in the rear fenders

It is posible we May some day see the Stock version of this Matador back!!! The last 2 re-issues did include the Stock Hood and Grill, though only as a Nascar. I have Both issues, "Bobby Allison's Sportsman" and the Coca-Cola 75 Nascar . Bobby did drive the car in the Late Model/Busch series a couple years after retiring it from Cup compitition. Thus the labeling on the 2 issues.

Don't forget the Photo-etch Also from the New tooled kit I was buyint the Regular, Pro-Shop & Coca-Cola issues at Toys R Us for $3,50 or so back then And They were NOT suppose to have the Pro-Shop issue!!!! Still have one, and 3-4 of the Coke issue And I got the 100th Anniversary Tin at Extra Clearance from Hobby Lobby I did not have enough cash, and was going to leave it, but Manager said to make it Half the ticket I said it was already Clearance priced, that floor person said they did not have correct clearance stickers but, still said drop it. So I took the kit home for $8.oo +tax!!

This kit was NEVER an MPC kit!!!! AMT from the beginning to last issue I have the Stock 75 Annual issue of it!!

I have a 60 Convert I bought from Joe Wheat MANY Years ago Shortly after his Resin kits were announced in that Other mag. Too bad the only Resin he offers now are Built Painted and not kits!! Sadly though covered in THICK paint that I did strip, the 3 trim pieces in the right front fender insert were sanded down, and need to be replaced!!!
