The Body MIGHT have been Copied from the MPC 66 But Hasegawa's Bonneville was NOT the Original MPC tooled kit I have 3 of the series of 5 kits. All shared a Generic Curbside Chassis Tires & rims were Identical in most kits, but slightly different in I Think the Cadillac The Interiors were also basically Identical and Generic, differing only in whether the body style was Hardtop, like the Thunderbird & Coupe DeVille, or more Fastback like the other GM cars, Impala, Wildcat & Bonneville, and whether it had Bucket seats or a bench, Otherwise they Are identical Even to upholstery pattern!!! I have the T-Bird, Wildcat & DeVille so recognize the FEW differences in the set! The Dash was Slightly detailed on the Top, but the face was Completely Flat. A Decal was the ONLY detailing offered I see Some are still not completely reading the title here. Since when has Round2 own Revell, Monogram, etc???

I remember there was Talk of POSSIBLY reverse engineering the 63 F-100 but that Was a few years ago. Nothing new for some tine on it. What happened?? Not enough interest/Pre-orders?? Even if the Shortbox Stepside parts tooling is Still good, I Doubt we will see that kit re-issued I read here (And included in my first post) that it was Modified into the Recen re-issue Cheyenne Longbox Fleetside from 95+ I know of 4 Box art issues and yet it is STILL a High Dollar Demand kit!!!! Even with the Poor Chevy grill/Front Bumper!! I Hope I am Wrong here, but........................ . The 1/32 Porsche 917 was an Airfix kit sold here by MPC I built 2 myself. As well as the VW Beetle & Capri If Re-issued, they will come from Airfix Not Round2 Did they modify the Buick Special Wagon into the Nova/Chevy2 Wagon?? If so we can Never get Either back! The Nova became the "Boss-Nova" Mid Engine Funny car. Right?? What Mustang did AMT or MPC, Or? do in 1/32?? I know of 3 (I have versions of All) by Aurora, 65 2+2 fastback (Re-issued once by Monogram) Revell 67/68 also a 2+2, and Monogram 70 Mach-1 AMT's 1/32 T-Bird was a 60 Not 50. The First 'Birds were 55's!!! a 66 Comet would Not be re-stored from the Modern tool 67, but a Modified re-issue. Just like It is a Modified re-issue of the 66 Fairlane GT/GTA I Too would Love to see Any and ALL of the Craftsman/Jr-Trophy seres kits re-issued that can be I think I read here that the 64 Comet Caliente was a Poor seller when first offered But Look at the secondary sales market It is A HIGH Dollar kit now too!!! Can that one be re-issued please?? I Would Love to know what happened to the 60 El Camino tooling too. It was available in 60 & 61, but after that what happened to it???? The 68/69? Jeepster/Commado was modified though the 72 Annual I Might be possible to re-issue it as the 72 (Not sure about the annual optional parts though) but would likely take a re-tool/New tooling to offer an earlier version I Would Love to see the Wagon/Sedan (LONG) roof returned to the kit along with the Snow plow, and Stock rims, hubcaps & tires (Police/Emergency vehicle) lights and siren parts too

I agree with ANY of the AMT/MPC 67-72 Chevy/GMC Pickups However, wasn't the AMT GMC Shortbox stepside re-tooled into the Cheyenne Longbox we have had re-issued since 95? Last seen in the "Rides" box? and why the grill is Too short (not tall enough) to be separated from the bumper like the original 71/72 grill was? (They were separate parts, I have a few) Correction on 88, it is 88-97, Not 98!! They changed in 98 I Would love to see the 454SS from that series re-issued, but most of the others are readily available and Not too expensive Not sure what else I would pick besides the 60 Chevy Wagon!!!!!!

But, Don't you need one of those......................... What are they?? Slice of plastic with Type on it or such. And, Don't you need a Bank to get one?? I AIN'T Got Either, so that leaves me Out of Direct ordering!!!!

These "KITT's" are Back out again IN the neighborhood of $35-45.oo If you bargain hunt Even Super Pursuit & Emergency Braking version!!

I too am happy to see this I have a couple Model-King issue, but can alway use another I Might even do what I did to a Motor City 70. Make a 4dr sedan!!!! Former car club member had one and I duplicated it for him. Wish I knew where either the car or model were now!!!!

Comparing the pic's I think the original is a lower trim leve Merc. Notice the "U" shape piece under the side windows It is Not there on the Old pic's. Was that only on 2 tone cars? or Top Of The Line?? It is on the AMT-Revell 1/32 scale 56 Montclair Pheaton 4dr hardtop I have one.

IF I remember, I can pull the box out for Mine later when I get ready to crash out for the day It is in my room Trailer is out here, just blocked!!! Wish I had a Better camera, the one I use does NOT like indoor use! Plus, it is a FIRST gen digital only 1.3 MP!!

I stand corrected on the 'Never having Chrome parts' line But, My Original issue Trailer Only did Not have any Chrome parts at all. I am Curious though as to which other parts besides the rims were chromed in the "Prestiege Carriers" Cab & Trailer issue.

I won't get to see it. I live too close to the regional Network city "Salisbury, Md." to be able to add them to Direct!! Indoor Antenna only picks up the CBS/Fox affiliate WBOC 16/21 The ABC/CW/M.E. TV has their tower too far north for that to pick up Not sure a Large Outdoor antenna would be any better!! Also won't see Monaco till it repeats on NBC-Sports Not sure where that "Local" station is!! Is there a way to watch "On-Line"??

This kit Never had Chrome parts. I have an Original! Not sure it was offered here first, then shipped off to Rev-Germany to become so Expensive!!!!! Glad it is Back out and MUCH Cheaper!!! I Just hope the tire compound is better!! Those on my Original have Rotted out!!! I Can not complete the build!!!!

Actually, I believe that it is Larger. 1/20 or even 1/18. I built one MANY years ago, and got it back a few years later The Driver figure, and Dog look Too large to be 1/25 I almost believe that it did have 1/20 scale marking on the one I built But, Bot sure where that box or instruction sheet is

I believe this will have 'Moebius' in place of the IMC logo. I have a copy of the production box with Moebius on it I Definitely want a few And HOPE they are a Bit Less than Moebius' New tooled kits!! I hope the Decal sheet is as planned for the IMC release with San Francisco PD stars!! I have needed a set for MANY years!!

It is a Revell Kit, Most likely the Jungle Jim kit and likely either a Bargain kit, or their Monthly Kit by Mail club offering Some of the Revell kits offered in Advent labeled boxes did bit have Chromed parts, but others did Depends on when it was run through tooling. Regular Revell kits that wwere considered Over-run would have had chrome since that was already done before the Advent box was print I had 2 of that Funny car it is NOT an Easy/Simple build!!!

What about the Testor's/MotorMax SuperCruizer?? Sure wish I had found one of those when they were available!!!

I built that AMT Clydesdale set & the 1/87 scale Jordan Highway Miniatures kit tor a great aunt (Grandmother's sister) I got both when she passed. Sadly the AMT kit is missing parts Wonder why that one was not re-issued yet!

I built one Way-pback when myself If they were sold at the same time wouldn't that mean that separate inserts were used for the 4270 & 4300 parts?? Maybe we Could get the 4270 version re-issued after all I need one or a 4300 as our Rescue is getting replaced an a year or so It is a 4400, so either will work, though the 4300 would be closer to what I would be going for

I have never seen those 1/20 Decotora Trucks, but have a 1/32 version van. I need to take some pic's of it!! I Would like to find others in 1/32 or even 1/24, but not any larger.

The transporter was originally offered from Rev US back in mid/Late 80's Same as their 4 semi cab's Pete Convertional KW Aerodyne, Vovlo Globetrooter & Mercedes I have one I started when New, but never finished Now It needs new tires as all rotted out I definitely want a few more since all Rev-Germany issues started at $50.++ and jumped over 100.oo Very Fast!!!!!!

They offered several different version of that Trumpeter "Red-Flag" Limo I have seen it in Red and with an Open passenger compartment with Microphones in holder at the forward edge of the open area I want one, but they always start over $30.oo Before shipping!!!!

I have taken to re-enforcing opened kit boxes I use corrugated cardboard Depending on box size as to whether I use light corrugated, single, double, or even triple corrugated Light corrugated boxes are usually Deli Pizza boxes from Wally's and even some shoe boxes Double corrugated are usually TV boxes. Maybe other larger items The Triple Corrugated one I get are Fresh Produce boxes, like Watermelon, either out of a recycling bin, or from the store. I actually got one from the church next door when they bought an entire pallet of watermelon!!
