  1. Testor's Bought Pactra Years ago. So, Anything is possible in getting re-issues of certain colors from the Pactra line. Most Pactra brand still ssold now is for Lexan RC body's Not styrene
  2. You could leave it Crew cab and be correct for an Ambulance too! I saw 2 FDNY Ambos on the news yesterday that were Both Crewcabs! I sure hope to get one of these Meng F350's one day!!
  3. I remember that "Replica Stock' article. He did not show full details of the build, but did show how he altered a Rev VW Vanagon into the Rampside.
  4. I currently have 2 kits 1 black 1 blue and a Promo (also blue) of this model I had a second black kit that I traded a few years ago. I had planed to use an extra kit body to repair the promo, but found it to bee too different in plastic material to be able to do that. The first I bought, the black one, in Pittsburgh 1979-80 I have been trying to build as a Daytona Indy Pace Car. I added a strip of .01x.02 evergreen to the side trim. She is in primer, but I have not gotten any further in Some years!!!! I replaced the kit tires with Lindberg Firestone white-wall inserts from their 53 Ford Vic.
  5. We had 2 as long as I can remember I was born in 61. We had a 49 Ford & a 54 Skyliner (Mom's) In 65 My dad gave the 49 to a family member and bought a Wildcat a couple months later in 70 we sold the 54 then bought a 70 Impala (First 4dr we ever had) Now that I am the only driver, we are down to one!!! But, There were 2 car families back in the mid-late 60's! Neighbors 2 doors down had a 58 Chevy wagon & a 65-66 Fury
  6. Looks like there could be 5 or 6 total there. I see Multiples of each tree/sprue. Wish I could do that!! No place to work and don't know anyone in the business!!
  7. If they re-issue that 67, I hope they still have the Stock Hubcaps No One offers anymore I have the 70's Street Machine issue I started to restore. I am kind of tired of only the 5 spoke Mag's in almost all MoPar kits lately. (Though, AMT did replace those with Ralley's in the 70 Challenger kit Johnny-Lightning re-issue!!)
  8. I remember some one in town owning a white over yellow Suburban with those graphics just a few years ago. Use to see it all the time. Wonder what happened to it or them And, That Mini-box in the Johnny Lightning has a 69 grill!!
  9. The Return Movie was a Caprice/Impala, not a Malibu, and had an All Blue STROBE Lightbar Whelan possibly Not a Twinsonic, and No red on it I know the ends were Round, Barney drove up with the Siren on (Yelp) & Strobe flashing when Opie's wife was in labor. At least, I Don't remember a Second car, Only the Impala/Caprice I have only seen that movie once, and do not know if it was ever repeated, or released on video/DVD Is it on-line somewhere?? I believe all single rotators were round top (Gum-Ball) Federal's. The resin one offered in the Chimneyville/Policecarmodels.com set is almost flat-top and not correct for most years of the show. (I am Wrong here! 1964 Custom shows a more flattened top rotator)
  10. They Were offered in the 80's & 90's, They added a ZR-1 Vette to the offering and changed the grill in the Ford Pickup Camper to a Chevy grill (71-72 style) NO they did NOT alter the Body at all I have both versions! They were in an area "Boscov's" There were 2 kits & 2 one-pc. Motorcycles in the box. I believe the ZR-1 & Pickup Camper was one set. I still have Most of mine around. Including the 65/66 Chevy Van!!! I have the 'Boat-Tail' Riv too!!! Never saw the Eldorado or Lincoln Mark till recently on that evil Auction bay Those Garages were included in later issues, so Could be offered again too!! That is IF they decide to even re-issue the 'Mini-Lindy's' !!!
  11. I just dug my 'Bushwacker' Jimmy out and sadly, the hood is also cut for the injector stacks!! Tailgate is Good, though both inner & outer sections are glued together Surprisingly, the Trail Bike is complete Unbuilt!!!!!!
  12. OK here are the 2 pic's I have of the Andy/ Mayberry 59 Ford. Note, This Cruiser was seen only Once, And Not even On the Andy Griffith Show!!!!! I wish I had her painted, Not likely now though with Cold coming so fast some days!! And YES the LAPD Can lights Are correct for this One! Just, Not sure if rear lenses should be red, or amber The Roof is from a resin 59 Edsel. Body is an AMT Sunliner. ALL Bright-work had been removed. A previous owner was going to use the Revell parts on it I have a second 59 Ford Police Cruiser in progress. 1 2dr Sedan for Baltimore City That one started as a Revell Skyliner kit I don't have the decals for her yet either, so................ And, Yes, I would Love to do as many of the Mayberry cars as possible. How long did Mayberry RFD run After Andy?? Till 71?? And then the what, 78-89 Impala/Caprice of the Reunion Movie "Return To Mayberry"??
  13. Trumpeter included 8-lug rims in there 60 Bonneville kits, so Yes, They must have been available then. I personally don't care for them myself. So will look for standard Hubcaps. I happen to have an extra set from AMT's 61 Bonney, so will look at adapting them, unless the Moebius Catalina/Ventura includes them
  14. Most of the Gangbusters kits did not share the Guns, etc. Though they may each have a Pisstol, they may be different between kits. I have the AMT Connoisseur Classics issue of the 28 Lincoln Touring & 32 Chrysler Roadster/Cabriolet as well as "Ma Barker's" Chrysler Pheaton, And Parts lots of the original Gangbuster Roadster with those parts. The Chrysler's Do share the accessories, as they are basically the Same kit anyway. The Lincoln has Different guns, figures, etc. While the Chrysler's have the Safe, Suitcase with Cash & Briefcase with jewels, The Lincoln (and likely Cabriolet/Roadster version too) has a Chrome Moonshine can/tank clear Booze bottles with 2 wooden crates for them, Violin case, Knife (or 2) hand grenades, etc The last issues of the Chevy did not include figures, guns etc. Just the Custom/Hot-Rod hop-up parts The Dodge Monaco 4dr sedan issued as either the Gotham/Goon, Roscoe's Or TJ Hooker has the Same guns and rack as the original Force 440 2dr that it is modified from. I think those were also used in the "Squad-Rod" Nova and MAYBE the Convoy Chaser Duster/Dart kit Though, I do nor remember guns in either of the 2 of that 'Convoy Chaser' I built Way back when.
  15. Sad to say, the likelihood of seeing the 68 Fury Police Pursuit, or 66 Cadillac Ambulance/Hearse kit re-issued are Slim to None. At least parts of those tool sets were 'Lost' or Stolen MANY years ago. (Posted here Many times) I too would Love to see them, But I doubt New tooling would ever be cut for them. If Moebius showed the Promo/Craftman/Curbside bodies, Then that is likely what they will issue. The May correct the interior for the Dodge, But I do not expect a re-tooled chassis or an enginee added to it . They May Plan that for later, but, expect a Straight Promo/Curbside issue first.
  16. I need to look at mine again then. Though, The GMC letters are Not TOO hard to find in a Kit. They are in the COE semi. and I think they were separate parts in the 72 Stepside pickup kit I also have parts leftover from the General & Bison 1/32 Semi cabs from Monogram I can Foil-cast them off the General if I did not cut them off or trade those parts
  17. Lucas, I am Unemployed, (No Money coming in), I am at my Local Library for Internet access using a TOWER, Not Laptop. This one has wireless receiver built in. The 'Laptop' I have is a glorified mp3 player only (NO Wireless ability, Minimal RAM, SMALL hard-drive, No batteries., etc)
  18. I see a few I like coming, But, am not sure what I will be able to get. Wonder if Round2 will re-issue the "Fire Chief" version of the 32 Vicky? That is one i would get!!! I do hope that Moebius is planning to re-issue the 59 Dodge & 63 Chysler Turbine. WIll they be announcing the other 2 IMC offerings 59 Rambler Wagon & 74 Olds Cutlass??? The late 60's-Early 70's Caddy Eldorado's you see under the Large 2015 Mustang are 1/64 scale Diecast They will sell for about $5.oo-8.oo Each. I believe Auto World sells the sets at $25.oo to 35.oo for 6 or 8 cars. I will wait till they are around $2.oo-2.50 each.
  19. Basically, The Jimmy & Blazer are the Same. Just the fender badges and grill are different And, If you Look Closely, The Jimmy Badges are Still there on the Chrome tree And the 4 Head-light lenses are on the clear tree in the Model-King issue!! I have 2 and see them every time I look at them. I believe those parts have been in the other previous issues too Maybe we can get Round2 to put the GMC grill back in the box to give us a 2n1 with 2 STOCK Brand options!! I have one of those "Bushwacker" issues too,. and Yes, it has the Trail-Bike I believe that same Trail-Bike was in the '6-Wheeler' issue of AMT's 80's Ford Van And the Original Bigfoot-1 4x4x4 kit (Same F Series as the recent re-issue Firestone Super Stones Pickup. (I have that one too) I am hoping that 69 Cougar has the Original & Count-down series issues engine & exhaust in it.
  20. Since it is Resin, I am not too surprised at the price.
  21. I don't see anything like that on the website. http://www.olliesbargainoutlet.com But, there is a "Contact Us" button With where you are, I wish I had the money I would offer to buy models and trade for KVK CD's & DVD's
  22. My dad had a 65 Wildcat black over Silver with black interior (Yes it Could get HOT, but it had Air Conditioning) His had a split Bench seat (Fold down Armrest) and Rectangular Gauge Not the twin pods of the kit dash. He broke MANY drive shaft with that 455 Nail!!! I did a Simulation out of an original 66 that I rebuilt Many years ago I call it simulation due to Darker Charcoal Metallic I painted it instead of Silver besides being a 66 and not 65. I used a Bench seat out of a Jo-Han 66 Caddy Ambulance. Yes I cut down the center section to simulate the fold-down armrest. I have a complete unbuilt 65 kit, but, like this one. I have at least 2 "Customising" series re-issues I could use But, Yes I would look for a Different dash and Bench seat!!
  23. Since the IMC kits Were Slotcar bodies with a Flat interior plate, with a promo type chassis added, I Did use Slotcar tires!! (Didn't I??) Yes, The rims on the Orange trailer Are from on of the IMC 'Kits' tires on it are the Lindberg CHarger/Cordoba pieces!! Rims on the flatbed trailer I think came from an MPC 1/32 Chevy Pickup, Tires are MPC 2-pc Styrene likely from the Tran Am Police kit I have 2 of those and one has Lindberg tires on it
  24. But, They modified the body from a full window van to cargo/panel side before this issue. So, Even IF all the Ironside parts are there, it would take a Lot to restore the body to Window van configuration I have built 2 of these. a 72 (or so) annual (molded in white & black) and the Ironside (molded white & blue) I would Lov e to see the Ironside kit or a Stock Annual re-issued, But Doubt it do to the modifications done. I am surprised to see the Stock grill in the pictures, as at least 2 of the last issues had a Custom Only grill option. were they in different section of the molds??
  25. The Revell XJ-s Coupe Snap kit was also offered in a standard (No License) box I have it molded in Silver
