Sweet! I think we should start an under glass post JUST for the new 70 cuda. 4 pics max per car and let all the nay sayers can see this kit is pretty good! I have not seen one built up I don't like. I know there are at least 8 ( that I know of) floating around here. You in?
That looks great! I would take some headlight lenses from say a 69 camaro kit and foil the spot on the grille and the trim on the edge of the lenses. Would give the front some better depth
I was wondering this also. In my world altering a Capri with aero parts is a huge no no! Lol. I have 3 1:1s and as is the bubble back capris are the sexiest foxes ever. On 4 eyed pride they will ban you from the site for putting aero parts on a 4 eye. No lie
Thanks again guys. Always great to get such nice praise from all the builders who's work I admire a great deal. I am always learning something new here. And yes Jason it's a relief to have it done but it also left a bare spot on my bench. Lol.
Is there any way to get the front wheels in a little more and maybe up just a smidge? Cudas always had a little sidewall hiding up in the fender. Would be just minty then : )
All the new revell stuff is like that. I use an old Tupperware container and spray it all down with no scent easy off. Then wash it and scrub with toothbrush (wife's) lol. J/k. Then repeat to get the thick yellow stuff off
I am not digging the tubular k member much either. It's a fiddly setup and it sits too low on the frame. My wheels sit where they should though. I think you may have other issues but I will check a 2nd one here and report back
So, for your box build did you just go straight by instruction paint call outs? Reason I ask is because little things that could have been just detail painted like the dash and some engine stuff you didn't do
