  1. We've had a little rain here, a .010" here, .030" there, however my biggest complaint is the cold. We had a freeze warning here, it was 28 degrees this morning. We've had little snow this year, and not much rain, but I am sick of the cold.
  2. This is the first time I've seen the general make a jump without a cutaway shot so you couldn't see the fenders fold up on it.
  3. Everybody wants a .98 wrench, made in USA, by workers that earn 25.00 per hour. It doesn't add up. You can't have both. I agree with most of you, that the Craftsman tools we all bought 25-30 years ago are much better than what's on the shelf today. Harbor Freight is not the answer IMHO. And its not going to get better, its just going to get worse. So hang on to grandpas tools, they are worth more than you think.
  4. Isn't that what they did in the 50's and 60's that everyone called innovative and imaginative? Personally for all the ugly BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH that people have attached to their cars, I personally think this one isn't half bad.
  5. I have the Lindberg kit, and wasn't sure what I was going to do with it, now I think I know. Thanks, Harry.
  6. My hangout is PatchCraft Hobbies here in Sioux City Ia. Local mom and pop store, I'm there about once a month. Hobby Lobby once every six months, maybe, Michael's, never.
  7. For a minute I thought he was back.....Bill, where are you......?
  8. Love the coffee cup.
  9. 35 years for me and the Mrs this year. There was more than once that it took a glass of wine for her to tolerate me.
  10. I pick mine up at the LHS, I'll have to check to make sure all the pages are there.
  11. I've been building without a license!?? I am in soooooo much trouble.
  12. That's how I do it. Some paint takes longer than others, and you will need a toothbrush to remove stubborn paint in nooks and crevices. But its always worked for me, some may take longer than others.
  13. An absolute beauty! The detail in the engine compartment alone is amazing. Very nice.
  14. I'm tired of being stuck in the house, can't work(off due to knee replacement surgery), can't paint(too cold out side), and tv sucks!
  15. That explains why they looked so real. I however, am not so brave as to leave my stuff outside.
  16. I gotta admit, I don't normally look at this category. But these are some very well done cars. My favorite is the Maserati.
  17. THAT WAS FUNNY! I needed that.....
  18. Congrats...........biggest joy........and responsibility........you will ever undertake
  19. Sorry to hear you had to deal with that guy. I too have a disabled card, although mine is temporary due to surgery. I have also seen a young, apparently healthy person jump out of a corvette and walk into a store with greater ease than I could, and wonder if that card was really his. There is abuse of the system, but NO ONE has the right to question or threaten someone because THEY think you don't need it, that's up to the authorities to determine, not some jerk with an agenda.
  20. I got a good laugh out of it when I saw the picture.
  21. I have only done it by accident. Bought a kit, got it home, then realized I already had one. Never did it on purpose. Not near enough modeling funds to be able to.
