  1. Very realistic looking weathering. Both look like they have sat out for a while.
  2. Sorry to hear about your pending change of residence. I have been there and done that, even have the T-shirt. Take care of yourself and of course your son. Time will heal many things.
  3. You captured the look for sure. Owned more cars painted Flat Black than I owned that were shinny. Got the stance, big meats on the back and a big engine in the front.
  4. Great looking paint and trim and like the engine setup.

    68 Roadrunner

Great looking color and finish. You got the period stance and MoPars seemed to always run Cragar's.
  6. Great looking OEM build. Like the color combination.
  7. Great looking combination. Like the duel rear wheel and tire setup.
  8. I like the look of the '61 hood grafted into the '59 hood. The styling on either side of the center ridge adds a lot of interest, and if it was a 1:1 it probably would have prevented the flapping that these often had. Built a '59 El Camino a while ago, hope you have enough foil for all the trim.
  9. Your credit card must be still smoldering.
  10. I have been using brushes that I get at a local Hobby Shop. They are the Atlas brand and not all that expensive. They offer many sizes and are pretty soft to the touch. I'm sure there are better ones out there, but these have worked well for me.
  11. Depending on your own personal level of concentration. Some can do a few kits at one time without getting distracted from any of them. I have a hard time walking and chewing gum at the same time so I'm in the one at a time camp. You might want to try a few of the above suggestions for building and see what works for you.
  12. You could try sanding just the finish in the raised "run" area. Suggestion would be some very narrow sanding sticks. I would go very lightly and allow the sanding stick to do the sanding and not a lot of pressure on your part. Try and leave enough of the clear coat that you can blend the finish with the surrounding paint surface so that you have a smooth transition from where the "run" was and the surrounding surface. You will know when you have gone too far when you start to see the body color on your sanding tools. There is always the possibility that another coat of clear could be applied. While this would all be time consuming Jim's suggestion of starting over is always a consideration.
  13. Clean looking trim and bumpers.
  14. Got the stance, chopped top, louvers, and the Moon Discs. Depending on the period the tire width may become a question only you can answer.
  15. Great looking combination of truck, motorcycle and trailer, they all just go together. Lots of small trim and detail parts.
  16. Great looking paint finish and color. Clean looking engine details.
  17. Beautiful looking finishes. Like the chassis and interior detailing.
  18. Great looking paint finish and color. Interesting interior detailing. Like the bed side boards and the tools in the bed.
  19. Beautiful looking color and finish. Like the interior colors and the bed trim is very realistic looking.
  20. Great color combination and smooth looking finish. The wheels and tires look good.
