Alway enjoyed the Bond films even if they were sort of tung in cheek. The "toys" that Bond got to use were also fun.

My default paint would be a Tamiya product based on the results thru the years. As mentioned, the Clear Red, and any of their clear colors for that matter, need to be thoroughly mixed before using. Try using a stirrer like a toothpick or a small coffee type stir stick to get the pigment that settles on the bottom of the jar mixed with the clear. This will make each light coat of color actually better cover say the kit chrome lenses. This has seemed to work better for mixing than trying to shake the bottle until your wrist wants to fall off.

The only thing really wrong with this kit is the body side trim. The problem can be seen in the picture on the front of the box art compared to a picture of an actual '57 Bel Air. If you can work with that there is no reason not to enjoy building this one.

Thankyou David. The engine supercharger is a replacement for the carbs that I used on a '57 Plymouth Fury.

The darker body color and not having the extra stripes gives this a sinister look. Great paint finish and the body trim and badging look nice and clean. The engine detailing is very realistic looking and color correct. Like the painted steel wheels.
