  1. Like the Red Impala as a friend and co-worker had one and I had a Danube Blue one. The White interior looks nice and bright. Nice engine detailing.

    AMT 66 Riviera

Great color with lots of sparkle in the finish.
  3. Great looking paint finish and the red stripes look better with the red interior.
  4. Beautiful looking body and paint work, all the body lines flow smoothly. The wheels look perfect with the bow tie centers. The interior with the luggage makes a good contrast.
  5. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Depending on the lighting sometimes it looks almost as if it is a two tone. I think this is because of the high metallic content of the paint. The body trim is all done very cleanly. Like the stance and ride height. In real life if it was any lower you might have a hard time turning. Great engine detailing.
  6. As Greg and Peter both pointed out the kits wheel finish looks very close to the photos that Greg sent that show an original looking Mustang. My only thought would be a very light brushing with either Tamiya Black Panel Line Accent Color or their X-19 Smoke. Looking at your photo you will notice how the two wheels on the left side are somewhat darker than the two on the right. This is probably because of the lighting, but this is the sort of difference you might expect using the suggested paints.
  7. I also noticed what you had pointed out about the appearance of the windshield. The reason I mentioned the positioning issue is that is something I have run into in the past on some builds. The top edge of the windshield might not have the same exact shape as the roof maybe. As for the "horse collar" grill, the story I heard years ago was the Edsel was designed by Henry Sr.'s son Edsel Ford who also was also involved in the design of the original Lincoln Continental. How true this is I really don't know. Edsel was sort of an automotive design type more than anything else from what I understand. Poor health has been blamed for his short life.
  8. When I lived in Sacramento (1986 to 1996) I visited the railroad museum there a few times. Anyone with even the slightest interest should visit this facility. The museum is located in what is called the "Old Sac" area and also has many great restaurants along the river.
  9. You might look into how much it would cost to have the pickups chassis cleaned and undercoated if you're worried about the effects of winter driving. While the pickup might not be the coolest driver, depending on your preferences, the return on your investment when you do sell it will be far better to help you step up to your next vehicle.
  10. Don't rule out Possums as well. We have had similar issues with our bird feeders over the last couple of years and have seen Racoons raiding the feeders as well.
  11. I can third this advice. Had a zit inside the edge of my ear that turned out to be so much more. They also dug a big divot out of my lower left leg that needed over 15 stitches by the time they got done tunneling around in there. Not fun. I'm paying for all those formative years when I thought sunscreen was for sissies. Anything that doesn't look right on your skin should be checked out by a skin doctor ASAP, it just doesn't get better with time on its own.
  12. Great looking paint and body trim. Like the weathered chassis finish.
  13. Great looking paint and stripe combination.
  14. Great looking paint color and finish along with the body trim. Cleanly detailed and like the wheels.
  15. You definitely captured the look of the movie car. The finishes look like a real street driven vehicle. I'm bias since the movie was and is still one of my favorites, and always liked Steve McQueen anyway. The wheels and stance look spot on.
  16. The interior looks like it fits perfectly looking at the tops of the interior door panels and how they meet the tops of the doors. Windshield, maybe not seated completely at the top?
  17. Great looking paint work and body trim. These were one of Ford's "Better Ideas".
  18. Great looking body design. Like the roll back fabric roof.
  19. Like the way you detailed this PT Boat. Can you imagine going to war in a plywood boat like this and living to talk about it?
  20. Great looking "paint" finish and the bed rack. I like the eyeballs, headlights.
  21. The body finish looks terrible, in the very best way. Nice to see the nearly stock Flathead. Like the red steelies with wide whites.
  22. Great looking paint finish and goes well with the interior. The chassis and engine are well detailed.
  23. Beautiful paint color and finish. The interior really stands out and is well detailed. Like how you did the chassis and engine.
  24. Great looking paint and body trim. Lots of attention to the fine details on the interior and chassis.
  25. I like the Motorama theme on this. The '55 chevy could be had in a color combination that I think they called Corol and a Gunmetal Gray two-tone. The '57 Chevy hood styling and grill bar along with the '56 side trim shows the future designs well. The Fuel Injection engine along with the Corvette hub caps fit in with the theme.
