  1. Beautiful looking fictious kit car build. The paint finishes and sponsor signage looks realistic. The chassis and the VW engine look like what a kit car could have been. Like seeing your Avenger GT kit car. A lot to be proud off with that. Looks professional enough to be a production-built car. I share your kit car experience somewhat. I cheated since I acquired mine as a done car needing some work. I was working at a Chevrolet dealership in 1980 and a guy wanted to trade-in his kit car on a newer and more reliable car. As a dealer we wouldn't have offered as a resale car on the lot and would have wholesaled the car. I told the dealer I would buy the kit car wholesale, and he was able to make the trade then. What I got was a Bradley GT with I think was a 1300 VW engine and chassis, needing a clutch and many other adjustments to the body and latches. I played with it for a year and sold it on since I had other interests at the time. The gullwing door latches were never a 100% even after a year and the body had to be partially lifted off of the chassis to get the engine out to get to the clutch.
  2. I'll vouch for their Baja Bug conversion kits as well.
  3. So many great looking builds. This is a good way to show them off.
  4. Great looking Cougar and love the story about the owner, sounds like a colorful character. Beside the great paint I like the wheel and tire setup along with the stance.
  5. Great looking paint color and finish as well as the vinyl roof. The chrome body trim looks real cleanly done.

Great looking paint color and stance. Like how you detailed the factory Rally Wheels so that they look far better hear.
  7. Great job with the body conversion to a Buick. The paint finish is nice and smooth, and the colors remind me of the era. I agree with your appreciation of the GM Colonnade body style. Working in a Chevrolet dealership at the time they were harder to sell than the previous Chevelles, but I find them far more appealing today than at the time.
  8. Like looking at all the little details and finishes. A Chevy in a Ford, even if it is a 6-cylinder unique setup and finishes. Great body work showing where the top was chopped but not smoothed with body putty and the primer already getting an aged look. The chassis and suspension finish and the rear mounted battery and toolbox rolling around loose. Going to have to start looking for some more used tires soon.
  9. Great looking paint finishes and trim details.
  10. Like how the scoop just does stick thru the hood.
  11. Good looking engine and the wiring and hoses add to the look. Like the added interior details.
  12. Great looking paint finish and side stripes. Like the added wheel lug details. The body and interior colors remind me of the car on Gas Monkey Garage.
  13. The box art looks like the original issue and the $2.00 price on the end of the box would also go with the time period.
  14. Great looking wagon and like the unique history behind it.
  15. Have you thought about posting what you have on the Forums Trading Post section?
  16. Like the smooth body work and paint finish. Compared to most of the new cars that were on the road when this was introduced nothing compared for body styling. This build looks like its showroom fresh, great looking.
  17. Like the sinister look with the black trim and wheels. Great paint finish and the engine is well detailed.
  18. Beautiful looking paint work and the chrome trim looks really sharp. The chassis detailing is as nice as the exterior.
  19. Beautiful paint and chrome body trim.
  20. Beautiful paint color and finish. I agree with Kromolly, amazing attention to detail and finishes. Enjoyed watching your build.
  21. Beautiful looking paint colors and finishes on both the panel and the midget. The wheels and tires look great with the stance. I agree with you on the midget kit in both the Offy engine and the Flathead. The nerf bars are really delicate.
  22. Veery stylistic looking taillights and rear fenders.
  23. In addition to the Tamiya Panel Line paint, I have used Tamiya brush paint X-19 Smoke. They both work well to define small details on a part.
  24. Ford pickup?
  25. Great looking paint color and trim. Like the clean interior.
