Beautiful looking build. The two-tone paint and finish look great, and the body trim is all cleanly done. Like the Rally style wheels and the big block engine.
On the first sheet as you may be able to see by the outline, I'm pretty sure those were Chevrolet Bow Tie emblems. On the other two I really don't remember. I bought and used these decals in the last century, so I just don't recall.
Being as the body structure is a major component of the frame you may want to get down on the ground and see what the floors and the mounting points of the suspension look like in regard to rust. Rust in cars is sort of like Icebergs. You only see the top third of the Iceberg and not the part that is under water.
Have to agree with the stress relief factor. Even when encountering build issues my focus is on solving the problem in front of me and not everything that is going around in the world.
Look forward to building this Dodge. I still can hear that Jan & Dean music in my head after reading this here. I have built the Belvedere I kit and think it was special as well.
Great looking T-Bird. Clean looking finishes and body trim. Had a neighbor who bought one when they first came out. Never understood why they didn't stay popular at the time.
Beautiful looking body work and paint. The long side decals must have been hard to get this straight. Very nice looking interior and the engine detailing looks great. Like the suspension and chassis detailing.
Good point. At the time AMT was marketing this model along with a few others, their component quality was at or close to the best in the marketplace. Why they sold out to others is a mystery to most including myself.
