  1. Beautiful work Ken , lot's of skill and craftsmanship is obvious here ! I've always wanted to build a ship like this , even bought a Constitution once but sold it . Out of curiosity how many hours are involved with a build like this ?
  2. If you start a list for pre-orders please put me on it !!!
  3. Thanks Bruce , that's the whole reason for building one of these kits !
  4. Thanks Ken ! Thanks much Jim ! Any of these models have to be foiled , they just don't look right painted .
  5. Great idea and very nicely done Ray ! That old Ranchero looks mighty good with a 427 and Cobra wheels !
  6. Very very nicely done ! Love the color and detailing !
  7. Maybe just an oversight with all that's been going on . Thanks Ray !
  8. Revell GmbH reissued this kit a couple of months ago and I wanted to build it for the 50th Anniversary , strangely Revell USA is reissuing it in September . Assembly is fairly straight forward , although the legs of the Lunar Module are a bit tricky . Very little painting on The Lunar Module except for a spray coat of aluminum , but lots and lots of foil . I used Chrome , Black , and Gold foil . . . enough for dozens of cars ! Here's a few more photos of the finished model , hope you like it ! Here's a shot without the "Moon" light .
  9. Just checked and it looks like the '69 glass fits minus the vent windows , not a big deal . The two connecting straps between front and rear are longer but again not a big deal . Thanks !
  10. Grabbed this one recently . The chrome and glass are bad but all of the main pieces to build a stock Cougar are there .
  11. That's a real beauty and in perfect colors , very nice !
  12. That's a sharp looking Midget , excellent work ! Looking forward to the next one !
  13. Very nice !
  14. Really nicely done , your color choice looks spot on to me ! And I agree with you about the steering , great solution !
  15. I've always wanted to build '53 but for some reason always had doubts about the Monogram kit . . . boy did you change my mind ! Beautifully done ! A little extra attention to the body really paid off .

    My GTO Judge

Great looking Judge and some really nice detailing ! Just right click then "copy and paste" .
  17. I like it a lot , gorgeous Eldorado Hardtop !
  18. In July 1969 I was 13 and glued to the TV set . Revell US is reissuing this due out in a couple months but Revell GMBH already has it out so I hunted a bit and found some at Ballazano's Hobby Warehouse . Lot's of well detailed parts it looks like a pretty straight forward assembly , but it screams for some detailing so I've also order a Detail Kit and upgraded decals from New Ware . This should be fun !
  19. Saw it on the news this morning and absolutely no idea who she was . . . thanks Snake . Way waaaay too young .
  20. If by "oldest" you mean a survivor it's probably this one . Built sometime around 1971 it's of my first car , a '69 Cobra Jet Torino . As for the actual oldest model it's this all original Monogram Yellow Jacket sold in 1962 .
  21. Very sharp Roadrunner , nicely done !
