  1. Well done Brian ! The Chaparral's were among the best looking race cars at that time and we definitely need a new kit ! I'd love to find one of these Aurora kits as they were the best detailed available .
  2. I never cared much for this year and body style but something you did has changed my opinion , I really like it ! Very well done !
  3. Really sharp color and very nicely detailed ! I agree those Cragars add a nice 70's vibe to the look .
  4. Great colors John , I really like that look ! Well done !
  5. Beautiful Impala and in some great colors to boot , well done ! '59 and '60 are my favorite years . . . probably because I've owned several of both years .
  6. Another winner Bob ! More great paint work and I love the polka dots ! PS - I sent you a PM
  7. I tried some and it doesn't melt the styrene at all , like Bill said it probably works for some things but not what we use it for . I was able to buy real MEK on line at this link but expect to pay hazardous shipping charges . https://www.sherfab.com/methyl-ethyl-ketone-1qt My guess is that any fiberglass or marine supply probably sells it .
  8. Now that's a beautiful Chevelle , it sits just right and those colors are gorgeous ! Excellent detailing of the engine and interior !
  9. That's a real eye catcher , those colors really compliment the chrome perfectly ! Great job Ken !
  10. These were great looking little cars and you did an excellent job , the colors and details look perfect !
  11. Thanks Steve ! For some reason I just never really searched for smaller sizes , but $20 is outrageous . Go to Chartpak Factory Store for normal prices on both the 1/64" and 1/32 " tapes . . . $8.85 per roll . https://chartpakstore.com/collections/graphic-tapes/products/bgcp1501 1/64" https://chartpakstore.com/collections/graphic-tapes/products/bgcp1501 1/32"
  12. The narrowest Chartpak Tape available is 1/16" , you could buy it wider but I'm not sure how you would cut it . I can tell you that it will bend for gradual curves but nothing drastic , if you want small radius bends then buy the Crepe Chartpak Tape , the crepe tape bends very easily and stays put ! Only downside is it's thickness and it doesn't have a smooth finish , it's cheap enough you can buy a roll and test it yourself . Here's a link to Amazon . I bought both the Blk Crepe and Blk Gloss to compare them . https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HDSCIL0?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-t1_ypp_rep_k0_1_8&amp=&crid=35X0U4K2PBJHM&sprefix=chartpak&th=1
  13. I've been doing many Matchbox scale cars too , fun to do and they don't take up much space !
  14. Awesome bike and it's great to hear from you Fabrizio ! I've always admired your fabricating skills and imagination , this Harley sure does present those skills for everyone to see . I sure hope to see more of your work in the future . BOB .
  15. NICE !! Right out of the box it's a great looking dragster , very well done !!
  16. It may not be the bright orange you wanted but it still looks great ! I've built a couple of these kits but don't think I've ever seen one built using all the drag parts , it's really cool looking !
  17. Ooooo that's a real eye catcher ! Really really nicely done !
  18. USAF Veteran here , it was an honor and a privilege . Here's to all the other veterans out there !
  19. That's about the nicest bare steel finish I've ever seen on a model ! Along with the detailing and extra touches you've got a real winner there , excellent job !!
  20. Great save of a great old JoHan model , you can be proud of that one ! Excellent work !
  21. Beautiful trio of Impalas ! These were all great looking cars and you've captured the look with your builds , excellent job !!
  22. Love those old Mercs ! Thanks for sharing !
  23. Great looking Beetle James , I like the pink and that you painted the rubber seals . . . Great Job ! One suggestion is to find some small diameter wire and make your own antenna , that monster one really looks out of place .
  24. I've been building one of these in my head for quite some time and am always looking for new ideas , I really like what you're doing with your Green Hornet . Please continue !!!
  25. Really really nice Joseph ! Back in the 60's I had a Lola GT slot car and it was always my favorite , just love that design .
