I like the basic grey , great looking Super Duty !

You're not kidding about it being yellow but it looks good on this one ! Really nicely detailed , great job !

Along with the "Zingers" created by Dennis Johnson MPC also came up with "Super Zingers" that were even more exaggerated with even larger engines and tires . These were the "Slightly Altered" Corvette and the "Fired Up" Dodge A100 Pickup which later became the "CB Freak" . I've had fun building Zingers over the years but was never very interested in these later kits . Recently I acquired this almost complete built-up and wanting to do something quick and easy decided to give it a shot . After disassembly I repainted it and replaced the engine with one from a diecast , added some wheelie bars from my parts box , and made some decals for it similar to the originals . While Zingers aren't for everybody I'm satisfied with how this one turned out , and it doesn't take up much space on the shelf !

Always enjoy your builds JC , I'll be watching this one ! Good solution for the cowl issue , and those engine parts look great together .

I misunderstood , you were asking that maybe it isn't Tom Daniel but the word "Cop" that was a problem . I get it now , my mistake .

Atlantis has the Tom Daniels license . Pretty sure the Daniels and Revell split wasn't very friendly .

I'm pleased to tell everyone that Resin Model Ranch contacted me today and I apologize to Ron Andrews for my earlier negative posts . While I've bought resin kits from several vendors this is my first time doing business with RMR and I was very impatient when there was no reply to my emails . I know better especially with supply issues and vendors being backed up with more orders than they can handle in a reasonable time frame .

What gets me is they tell you to email them to place an order then don't reply to any of them . Lousy customer service is one thing I can't stand , I've fired employees that repeatedly do such things . Are these guys in any way associated with Reliable Resin ?

Beautiful Impala , your Dad does excellent work ! A small tip on photographing your models . . . hold the camera a little farther away and you won't have the blurry areas . All of the details will look better too .

The last email I sent used my gmail account . The website specifically says for orders to email "rmrmodels@gmail.com" so why would they not receive it ? Makes absolutely no sense to me . Maybe you can call and ask him to check his emails .

In 1968 a Pontiac dealer in Western New York did build one and presented it to the GM brass and tried to convince them to put it into production . GM said no way , but then introduced the GMC Sprint the very next year . They should have built the Pontiac .

This is really looking super nice Joe , excellent work ! Your paint and extra detailing are really making this one stand out . One thing you might take a look at is that "Floating Alternator" , it needs some kind of bracket . Nothing fancy just a strip of plastic on top from the alternator to the water pump is enough , put a couple of small bends in it and it will look factory .

That sounds a bit strange . Did you actually speak with him or did you email him ? I didn't see a phone # on the web site .

I've emailed them twice with no response . I understand they have cut back because of a backlog and listed everything as out of stock but the website says to email them with questions and new orders . Does any one know if they are still in business ?
