  1. In 1968 a Pontiac dealer in Western New York did build one and presented it to the GM brass and tried to convince them to put it into production . GM said no way , but then introduced the GMC Sprint the very next year . They should have built the Pontiac .
  2. This is really looking super nice Joe , excellent work ! Your paint and extra detailing are really making this one stand out . One thing you might take a look at is that "Floating Alternator" , it needs some kind of bracket . Nothing fancy just a strip of plastic on top from the alternator to the water pump is enough , put a couple of small bends in it and it will look factory .
  3. That sounds a bit strange . Did you actually speak with him or did you email him ? I didn't see a phone # on the web site .
  4. I've emailed them twice with no response . I understand they have cut back because of a backlog and listed everything as out of stock but the website says to email them with questions and new orders . Does any one know if they are still in business ?
  5. Beautiful work so far John ! Interior , engine , and the body all look great ! Congrats on getting the foil done on the body . Guess it's just a matter of re-learning how we do things .
  6. Lookin' good Johnny ! Always fun to replicate a car we actually owned in the past . Are those wheels from the Revell or MPC '67 Charger ?
  7. Excellent work on the conversion ! I always wanted to try something like this but never have , glad to see you doing one . Love that red !!
  8. Excellent builds Tim , thanks for sharing ! I had the Hawaiian years ago but never even opened it before I sold it . I need to take another look at both kits , they do look very nice .
  9. Looks great to me ! These kits always build up into cool looking Corvettes , well done !
  10. Sharp looking Vette , can't remember the last time I saw one of these built . . . nicely done ! I also read thru your WIP thread , some good info there Thanks !
  11. My favorite FED ! I was given this autographed diecast by Jerry Clayton when I was working on his Cobra . Welcome to the forum and looking forward to seeing more of your build !
  12. I remember attempting to build one of these back in the 70's and I failed miserably . Yours turned out excellent , no one would ever know the fitment issues you had ! Love that Brilliant Orange color too !
  13. Definitely never seen one of these before . . . I think it's pretty cool looking ! The chassis looks nicely detailed and your paint has held up great . Thanks for posting !
  14. Thanks Pappy !
  15. Well done Michael , really clean little wagon !
  16. Thanks Rusty ! I agree , basic modeling at it's best . Thanks Stephan ! Thanks Robert ! Opening the scoop is really all that it needs , don't bother with the headers they are too small to try drilling the ends .
  17. Thanks Michael ! Thanks Alan ! Thanks much Bill !
  18. This original has been unfinished for a couple of years because it was missing the headers , roll bar , and rear wheels/tires . Thanks to the Atlantis reissue I was able to complete it with some new parts , so it's not 100% original . I opened the scoop , filled the body seam and painted it with Tamiya French Blue , and was able to use the original decals . It's definitely a primitive kit by todays standards but it's part of modeling history and looks great on the shelf ! I have another Atlantis Fireball Dragster and plan on upgrading it with parts swaps from newer kits .
  19. That's so nice and clean , and in those colors it's beautiful ! Great job !
  20. Really like this one Pat ! As I said elsewhere I picked up this one and the Spad , now I just need to find time to build them !
  21. Great looking Chevy Jim ! I don't build many race cars any more either but once in a while they a nice change of pace .

    Revell Jaguar

Great looking Jag ! I hear good things about this kit , well done Greg !
  23. Sharp looking Corvette , well done Ricky !
  24. Wow that's a pretty blue ! Very nicely detailed and an overall beautiful Mustang !
  25. Beautiful Cougar ! Don't think I've ever seen one in that color , I like it ! And I also prefer the cleaner look without the stripes .
