  1. That Snow White Pearl is gorgeous , Great job !
  2. Love those colors , super nice job Curtis !! I've got to build mine one of these days .
  3. Great Mach I Ken , love that Grabber Green ! It's probably an illusion from the photos but it looks like the front tires are larger than the rear !?!?
  4. Not sure what you mean by "handling" , I've been using sharpies for years and never had an issue with it rubbing off . Of course I've never picked up a model and rubbed the lights with my finger to test it .
  5. Lots of super nice detailing on the interior and the exterior trim , especially the emblems and taillights ! Sharp looking convertible !
  6. Well done Bob ! Nicely detailed and I really like the silver frame . . . and NO foil !
  7. Nice !! Your paint looks great !
  8. I have globaltoys as a saved seller but this morning nothing on ebay was working . Now it's all good and I see the script you're talking about , looks like it's the correct size so I'll order a set . Thanks !
  9. Thanks Rex , I've seen those but have only bought decals from globaltoy . I may get a set but right now the search function on ebay isn't working for me .
  10. Don't know about the accuracy and it doesn't matter , that's a neat looking submarine ! Nice job !
  11. Gorgeous '59 Luke ! As a certified El Camino fanatic (I've owned 1 '59, 2 60's, 1 '70, 1 '74, and 1 '82) I have to say that's the nicest "59 El Camino I've seen built , Congrats !
  12. Thanks again Nigel ! I've always wanted to try replicating the rubber gaskets but was always doubtful I could mask and spray the frames properly . A while ago I did it to spray some chrome trim and it worked okay so I went for it here .
  13. Sharp little MG Trevor , great paint and very nicely detailed especially the interior ! I've got a couple of the Aoshima kits and never cared for the one piece windshield/frame either . I'm currently converting one to an MGB-GT .
  14. Thanks Nigel ! I don't normally do any polishing since BMF doesn't stick very well to polished paints . Well I spent two days on what normally would have been a one or two hour job but the foil is finally finished , I guess I'm getting the hang of this new stuff but I still don't like it . I masked and sprayed the front and rear window gaskets with Tamiya TS-82 Rubber Black , then applied a thin strip of foil for the reveal molding . Not perfect but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out .
  15. That's pretty cool ! Is it oils or acrylic paint and who made it ?
  16. Red and Orange Sharpies , much thinner and easier to control than paint . Along with your choice of chrome or silver on the back if needed .
  17. Beautifully done John , love that blue paint and I'd say you've got the whole foil thing figured out ! I've super detailed interiors & engines and I've done quick easy ones too , when finished the only difference is the photos that get posted .
  18. Absolutely nothing wrong with a nearly box stock build , you've done an excellent job !
  19. Whoa those louvers are nice , great work Jim !
  20. Excellent work on the conversion , really love seeing this kind of work !
  21. Nice step-by-step photos Craig , looking forward to seeing your progress !
  22. A '68 Impala is the grail for a ton of us , great score ! Not a big lowrider fan but I'll follow your build because all 68's look great !
  23. Thanks for the info , I know very little about MGB's so I'm sure a lot of what I do won't be technically correct . The color I'm shooting for is Bronze Yellow so I repainted this morning with Brilliant Orange and it looks a lot better to me .
  24. I've checked everywhere I know of but just in case I missed it . . . are there photo-etch 428 Cobra Jet emblems available ?
