  1. Another average year for me except that I concentrated mainly on simpler builds that could be finished in a reasonable amount of time . The one exception is the '60 Dodge which took nearly 10 months to complete working on and off , I had planned this one for several years and it was very satisfying to finally have it on my shelf ! At the end of the year I squeezed in a few Zingers just for the heck of it . Here's to a safe and happy 2022 for all . . . Cheers !
  2. Today it's Steps #13 , #14 , and #15 , which begins the assembly of the External Fuel Tank . About 2 hours to complete these steps . And then I started Step #16 which finishes the External Tank and attaches the Boosters . Seemed relatively simple but still took another hour to complete . A total of 3 hours this morning gives me this ! The last part of Step #16 attaches the Shuttle . This will have to wait for another day , I'm exhausted .
  3. Yes they are perfect filler builds but by no means are they easy ! A lot of patience is required .
  4. Claude , you've got some beautiful builds there ! Congrats on another great year !
  5. Some pretty cool builds David , the GT40 turned out great !
  6. Cool stuff , quite a variety of subjects too ! Like the Ferrari , would love to sea plastic kit of that one !
  7. Beautiful work Chuck , lov'em all !
  8. 2021 must have been very tough for you , the fact that you finished any builds is quite an accomplishment . They're all exceptional , nice work Ken .
  9. Beautiful work Aaron , welcome to the forum !

  13. Great group of builds Ludwig ! They all look great but I really like the Galaxies .
  14. You shouldn't be disappointed with only finishing five , it's quality not quantity that counts and your five are all outstanding ! As always your three Deuces really stand out , the Maserati is WOW , and finishing the '40 Ford in such a short amount of time is Amazing . You had a great 2021 !
  15. Jeff , please check your messages !

  19. All three are beautifully done ! Really like the T Touring and the '29 Shop Truck , congrats on the magazine spread .
  20. Friday morning I started on the two Solid Rocket Boosters . The first booster is Step #11 and took nearly 3 hours , this is definitely the most difficult Metal Earth part I've ever done ! I don't have any fancy bending tools , I'm just doing it by hand and with some needle nose pliers and tweezers . It should be noted that identifying the parts and cutting them from the P.E. sheets took at least 30 minutes . This morning I repeated the whole process with the second booster , Step #12 . It was much easier this time but still took about 2 hours to complete . Here's the two completed Solid Rocket Boosters . The External Fuel Tank is next .
  21. Thanks Ray ! The pre-finish makes a big difference .
