  1. This takes the cake! Can I steal this for a screen saver?
  2. Harry, it's blackwashed. I think the angle I took the pic at doesn't show it well. Here's a couple more pics. Still can see it good though. And, yes, still looking for suitable mirrors.
  3. Nice subtle weathering!
  4. Good to know. Thanks guys.
  5. Cool...............get another one under way and send it to Detroit resin group to play with for a while. We could all benefit from a 4 door hardtop C body!
  6. I've had this kit for probably 25 years. Started it last year and finished it yesterday. I chose to build a base Volare Road Runner, without the flares, spoiler, louvers and stripes. All that was an option package on the Road Runner. As most of you are familiar with my builds, I don't tend to go for all the stick on gee gaws. It's sprayed with straight enamel factory Spitfire Orange, T-tops are gloss black, interior is black. I wasn't going to wire it, but my son told me I should, so I listened to him. Stock 318, dist/wires from Fatkidd Hobby Products, and I stuck in a fuel line and brake line from the master cyl. For a very basic kit, the outcome wasn't too bad. Wheels and tires are kit issue Mopar Rallye's on Goodyear G-70 15's and I used white lines from vinylnationdecals.com This one will look cool in my case next to my '78 Volare Premiere. Now I have to find the hard to get '80 Volare kit (with the square headlights). Wish they'd re-issue these. I could see a resin Dodge Aspen conversion too. Enough rambling on, here's the pics.
  7. I remember a thread from when Ray passed away, but I can't find it now and can't recall if anyone knew what happened to his stuff. A couple of days ago, I asked the seller on ebay who was selling his product, and this is the reply I got. Dear realgonemopars, Mrs. Parsons told me they had sold the rights to the name and had sold the molds before he passed but I do not know to who or if it might have been overseas. Mary - msmiteymouse Anyone know what's going on? Lot's of them I'd like to build.
  8. That's awesome! I've always wanted to do this too. I need to find another training van to use though. I don't want to mess with my mint boxed one.
