  1. Agreed ! Tiny as are the stock kit mufflers. Carb will be hidden but the mufflers will not so I am trying to make or find something I can replace them with. Failing that I will install the kit ones and just not look at the bottom. ?
  2. They would look good with a set of those spinner wheels. Not !
  3. Cool color, nice model.
  4. The engine ( such as it is ) in installed .
  5. Nicely done !
  6. Boy Bill between your models and your 1:1 cars you will have a very busy retirement.
  7. Thanks for all the great pics. I missed it again ! I always seem to be away on vacation when the show is held.
  8. That's a wild Dub !
  9. Huge and super cool !
  10. I never met a Cobra that I did not like and yours is very nice. Well done !!!
  11. Nice work, sorry about the paint problem. Been there a time or two.
  12. Ebay flakes irk me. As I am getting older I have started to reduce my collection so maybe family doesn't need to deal with so much stuff. Anyway, in the last two weeks I have had two guys just not pay. I can relist and that's fine but why to people bid and win and then just not pay ? Flakes !
  13. Thanks fellows. I forgot I even built one of those. EMRE I'm sure the roll bar is in the kit location.
  14. I have used cardboard (the kind on the back of note paper ). Painted with gray primer. Then I used a fine line marker for the seams and then also to free hand the cracks. Looks ok. Better ways I am sure and someone here will come along with a better idea.
  15. The last four days pleased me. Was on vacation in San Diego on Shelter Bay. Room was right across from the bay and had a terrific view. Caught the USS Vincent air craft carrier going into port and also a Destroyer which I could not identify. Also two huge cruise ships ( who cares ). My daughter, son in law and only Grandchild were at the same hotel. Found out daughter is pregnant with grandson number two. Got to spend rare quality time with them. They live in Virginia and with us in Arizona we don't get as much time as we would like.
  16. Left Arizona this morning for vacation time with family meeting in San Diego . Filled up before leaving for 4.45 a gallon .. Needed gas when I got here at 5.99 a gallon ! I knew what to expect but it still irked me ! Glad I left the F 150 home and drove the wife’s Soul .
  17. Thank you Andy.
  18. Well , here’s a update such as it is . Wheels are done and body has a coat of primer . Needs to be sanded and primed again . Headed for San Diego tomorrow for a few days and will get back on this then .
