Not recurring, but I have had the "nude at school" dream......... I made a toga out of TP.........
-
I used to have a recurring dream that I was being shot and not dying....... May be why I hate guns now..... Better?
-
You can control your dreams, if you realize that you're dreaming........ I asked someone in one of mine once "am I dreaming?".... they just looked at me and "Yea"

Here's another by the same group... Though you feel that your life's become a catastrophe, oh it has to be, for you to grow. Boy..... and when you look through the years and see what you could have been, oh what you might have been, if you had had more time....

Met my first Palmer kit today.....
JollySipper replied to JollySipper's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Here's a pic I found online of it.... It's not So bad, but probably still the same funky kit design with the interior molded to the top of the body.... Here's a resin body to compare it to.... -

It's kind of a disappointment that Palmer felt the need to mold a Volvo P1800, that probably means noone else will kit one......... I bet it would sell........ -
I really like this! I've thought about one of these as a custom myself..... The Tweedy Pie wheels look right at home!
-
Here's an obscure one by a pretty well known group.... Well, who you think you're foolin'? You say you're having fun, but You're really going nowhere, Just lying in the Sun....

You got it..... it's Modest Mouse. I've been listening to a lot of them lately....

Paint Pens for Detailing...
JollySipper replied to JollySipper's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
These pens are very much the thing for stuff like detailing rim lips, like these '56 T-Bird wheel covers..... -

Okay, but prepare yourself.... Here it is mocked up, kinda sad really.... I'll give them that the stickers are pretty cool that came with it, but when they stamped them with the cutter, it ruined them! -
Is there anyone you don't pick on? You kinda got me with that one, duuuuuuude Get this, guys.... The local schools have closed down, but they are cooking meals at the school and delivering them to the home-bound students! Does that not seem like a bad idea?

Congratulations, Carl!

The box art is actually pretty cool, I'll try to get a pic up of it later on...... The Charger is "poppin' a wheely" with a cloud of smoke behind it.... -
Wow, is all I can say. Not only does it not look like the subject ('71 Charger) but it's the worst engineered kit I've ever seen. The body top half and interior are all one piece. Dad was given it as a Christmas present..... he has a '73 Charger.... He wants I should build it for him. I'm just going to tell him that I'll get an AMT kit and build that instead...... Are these old Palmer kits worth anything to a collector?

You got it...... Cake's a good band!

Changing Times, Changing Tastes
JollySipper replied to Richard Bartrop's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I enjoy seeing cars from the '40s and '50s done as customs, and muscle cars from the '60s and '70s, but you know what I really would like to have? An '83-'86 Thunderbird! (I've maybe said that before....) They share a lot of the architecture with the Mustang of that era, so a lot of the go-fast goodies for them will work on the T-Bird. You can make quite the little muscle car from one.... They can be made into a pretty nice cruiser, too, if that's your thing..... -
Coronavirus (Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson tested positive)

I think you've got a touch of the Freddy-Krueger effect, there Joe..... Australian greeting......... -
I used to love SNL, but I haven't watched it in a while.... not since Will Ferrell and them was on. He was a comedic genius! He gained weight just for the comedy factor it would add to his characters..... If you think about it, the "cowbell" skit with Walken wouldn't have been half as funny without Ferrell's gut hanging out from under his shirt!

I was doing a bit of reading on Napster while listening to some Alan Parsons Project. Turns out, he helped to produce the Beatles "Abbey Road" album, as well as Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon"..... I like a lot of Alan Parsons' music, especially the "I Robot" album........ You guys remember on the Austin Powers movie (don't remember which one, I think it was The Spy who Shagged Me) Dr. Evil named one of his schemes "the Alan Parsons Project"? Funny stuff....

I believe I was able to hide it, guys....... I just put a couple coats of Perfect Match clear on the roof right over the primer. I could still see it thru the clear, but another coat of primer seems to have hidden it....... We'll see when body paint goes on. -
