  1. There are a number of kits that depict the 1950's Alfa's and this is the SMER version of the 'Alfetta'. Outside the period build garage............... Although the kit has been on my shelves for a few years and the decals have 'yellowed' I still used them for a period effect.

  3. Cheers Athu.
  4. Looks great rastta, well done!
  5. My homemade Teardrop... And my resin kit Scamp, with full interior...
  6. To me as a retiree there is no season for model building, it is continuous. No let up, flat out. Very few of us in the UK have 'cars in the garage' due to the fact that fuel here is around £5 to £6 per gallon, we can't afford to have a second car to play with. The creative juices therefore don't have time to stop, so we must carry on regardless!
  7. Thanks guys.
  8. Neat!
  9. Great alternative look at the Tweety Pie, well done!
  10. Thanks Dann.
  11. My latest three!
  12. One more.....
  13. Well hobbybobby that's a great shape, looks amazing!
  14. I was a race/rally marshall in the day. I was taking pics with my son's zoom lens near a corner and as the driver took his foot off the gas a flame about 3 feet long came out of the exhaust just under the passenger side door! When I developed the pics for that day all I had was the flame, nothing of the car just the flame! Superb so far, keep up the good work!
  15. Great build, well done. We have a lot of those here in the UK, super, economical car, specially when our fuel is around £5.60 per gallon ($7.70)!
  16. Thanks Rider.
  17. Cheers guys, not a bad kit for a kerbside.
  18. I built this alongside the Citroen Mehari . It's a metal axle rear end with working steering at the front and all the bits to put an electric motor in. Metal axles so tight I broke out a rear hub and rebuilt the wheel centre.
  19. Thanks Tulio.
  20. Yes that would have been a good idea. I hope your enjoying your 'New Life'!
  21. Hi David, yes another quirky looking thing!
  22. Super build Paul, I built the Capri when it first came out. Ah Napier only there in late January, on a cruise from Sydney, great place!
  23. Thanks Anders. I've built the 2CV and the HY van, super kits. There is one problem with this one, the wheels are only one sided there are no backs to them so the tyres are always trying to roll off, because they are a tight fit and are of very soft rubber , so I stuck them on with superglue! Next time I'll make some wheel backs from plastic card to keep the tyres on!
  24. Yes Dann quite a bit of the new very narrow Tamiya white masking tape, but worth the time!
  25. France's answer to the beach buggy. Manufactured '60's to late '80's, main parts from Citroen 2CV saloon to 'trendy' open Sand 'n Surf vehicle. Originally had the 2CV's canvas roof and seats.
