  1. A new Aston Martin DBX 4X4.. A loud growl as it drove past while we were walking down into town for our regular exercise.
  2. Very well done, superb build! Friends who I've been to Le Mans with were part of the team out on the circuit as 'pit signallers' who would advise the pits by short wave radio of the team car's position on each lap of the 9 mile circuit. They also worked for Jaguar when they won the great race in later years.
  3. I'm a sucker for Subaru Impreza WRC rally cars. On it's way another ebay bargain by Airfix.
  4. Cheers Larry.
  5. Thanks David, yes a very nice kit.
  6. Thanks guys. Now perhaps I'll look at the Unreal Roller also from Atlantis. But there is a heck of a lot of chrome!
  7. Thanks Jeff, yes the drivers would be lining up for a chance to drive/crawl this!
  8. Built box stock just added tyre decals.
  9. Unusual and very interesting!
  10. Superb! I remember these on the forest stages as a rally marshal in the day! Their sound was unique, you knew what was coming before you saw it.

    Neater than neat, great build!
  12. I'm not normally an American car fan, but this is something else!
  13. Really neat!
  14. Cheers Zippi, it was easier than I thought and gave a great paint effect.
  15. Perhaps not as good as most on here but my try at hydro-dip.
  16. It's crashed and burned! Whoever/whatever they stuck together with was awful. I could neither remove anything nor add anything! I tried every method that I knew and searched on various sites other methods to reduce/remove the glue to no effect at all. So it's gone! Ah I kept the wheels and tyres.
  17. Good job, so far. Having not seen the film you mention, but the real thing in the day as a race marshal and knowing also in the day Walter Wolf trackside in the pits etc.
  18. This was my only try at hydro-dipping. It worked out OK.
  19. Super re-Cycling and re-Engineering.
  20. Superb! The sort of thing I saw on the streets of Bangkok daily.
  21. Very nice indeed! So mush better than my standard bread van!
  22. 28/08/21. It's landed at last! It's in the wash! When I've finished re-building a glue bomb L'ill Coffin and a new Heller Renault R4 I can get on with this! I've seen pics of many builds and the colour changes builders have made of this kit, I'm contemplating colours etc. I must find a wired distributor to start with.
  23. Yes Chris R , great colours well done!
