  1. Superb! Another use of Nail Art well done!
  2. Thanks guys, I added my first palm tree decals to a beach buggy.
  3. Nail Art, finger nail decals. Used these before, all about 1/24 and 1/25 scale, each sheet between £1.35 and £1.75 on ebay UK post free. Must also be available on ebay.com USA. I have used the ice creams on Ice Cream Truck and Ice Cycle Trike.
  4. I've had problems in the past with BMF and now use a plumbers chrome tape, slightly thicker and more durable. It doesn't tend to tear.
  5. For 'different' decals. All about 1/24 to 1/25 scale. Average price £1.35 to £1.75 per sheet from ebay UK. I have used them on Ice Cream Truck and Cream Cycle Trike.
  6. I looked out a Fujimi Enthusiasts Porsche 911, part done, just the chassis about 10-15 years ago, found some 911 decals cut them to fit, added aero wheel discs, it has two seats with belts, so building a roll cage, might put some lamps on the front as a club type/style rally car.
  7. Yes a few at the annual meeting of the MK18 (our postcode) Buggy Club. Some are Airfix, resin, etc. And of course a few Manx's!
  8. I saw a 1/32 version of this on ebay here in the UK. The starting bid wanted was £110!
  9. SUPERB! I think I've made seven of these kits and one from a resin body from Jimmy Flintstone, so very well done.
  10. Thanks guys. Yes the fade by spray can spraying two colours at once, one enamel and the other acrylic, without any reaction between the two. And the forks I thought of shortening using alloy tube instead. I may well try it with a similar kit if I can find one at a reasonable price.
  11. They are in this Fujimi kit..
  12. Recently bought kit that has a number of decal options, I chose Cream Cycle. I used clear red for the engine detail and also on the wheels to give an anodised look. The steering works but carefully! The Ice Cream decals are nail art.
  13. My first trike kit build. I have a few things yet to do to finish. The decal sheet gives you six options from Milk through to Soda, I chose Ice Cream/Ice Lolly. Plus I've added Some Ice Cream nail art decals to the rear. I've also painted some of the chrome parts with Acrylic Clear Red to give an anodised look. Yes the steering works 'carefully'!
  14. MPC Milk Trike, my first custom trike purchase and build. There are about six options on the decal sheet. So I chose the Ice Cream set. Plus I have some nail art decals of ice creams, two of which are on the back. I have a few things to do to finish, this is as at today.. I have used Acrylic Clear Red on the chrome to give an anodised look. The steering works 'carefully'!
  15. Thanks Rusty. I bought this as a friend had one in the day and converted it for GB National rallying.
  16. Brilliant! How long have you had it? It looks great!
  17. Thanks Bruce, your right I had to keep them wet for a time while I lined them up as they were so big up the side.
  18. Built box stock added tyre decals. Although it has two sets of decals for both 1987 and 1988 I chose these. Well I was unhappy afterwards as the large side decal in blue and white over the rear wheel, was too big, as it covers both the rear of the door over the edge of the glass and the leading edge of the rear window glass. Very good quality throughout and fitment was as well. The holes though where other items are attached need to be enlarged.
  19. Fabulous work, well done!
  20. Whilst talking to friends at our local coffee shop in a small pedestrian mall here near home, Spot came around the corner, He has just been built by students of The University of Buckingham Computing Faculty. The head of department was just taking it for a walk. People were taken aback as it went through all of it's moves and took photo's on their phones. Technology nowadays is amazing!
  21. Thanks for the info about Magzter I have ordered issue 204. Paid for digital and got it straight away! I now know were I can see the magazine, thanks Mark Hubbard!
