  1. I'm entirely aware of that, and your stuff looks beautiful. I'll personally be a many-times repeat client once I have more time to build again. EDIT: And I'm really happy you're doing such fine work. Too bad there are so many "me too" talentless blind scam-hackers who either don't have a clue or just don't care.
  2. And they say competence in the workplace is declining...
  3. And I'll wager the vast majority of the ones given away or purchased for this one were nothing but cheap tinted garbage, not extra-special whiz-bang "eclipse-rated" whoopee wonders.
  4. You mean these? https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/chevrolet/corvette-unknown-year/amt-eckler-corvette/ecklerboxtop.html#media Looks to me like the kit has stock suspension bits, but this specific kit's wheels just have longer center schnozzles on the backsides than stock wheels, moving the wheels outboard. If that's the case, you can just fit wider wheels, no problema.
  5. Wow. Very nice.
  6. Thanks for your efforts. Some days it works great, some days it's erratic. It seems to be worse around midnight, if that gives you any clue as to what might be going on.
  7. Lovely women are often the recipients of derision and hate, driven by jealousy and envy.
  8. Geez. Just the body print alone with the supports still attached would make a beautiful display piece.
  9. Staggeringly beautiful modeling. I've seen your work in person, and there's nothing in 1/24-1/25 that even comes close.
  10. Yup, really liking this one.
  11. Fella walked by my house yesterday during the event with an open umbrella over his head. Guess he didn't want to get exposed to any of the deadly eclipse rays. I couldn't tell if it was tinfoil-lined.
  12. And yet another easy one. Thanks. PM'd.
  13. "King" doesn't often carry any real authority these days, and is likely to be nothing but a celebrity maintained in spectacular style.
  14. Variety shows like Ed Sullivan had acts like Elvis and acrobats and Topo Gigio all on the same bill.
  15. Looks great, like something Bertone would have done, especially the somewhat Montreal-esque headlight eyelids. I like the 2X3bbl Weber carb setup too, which could be done in reality with some machine work. The stock one- or two-throat manifolds were milled off and Crown Mfg. 3-throat castings substituted.
  16. Pretty baby. The real ones never looked that good until they were restored many years after last turning a wheel in battle. Are the seat ventilator rings PE or paint?
  17. Beautiful car, though I'm not a fan of all the complication. Anyway, a fella I work with bought one like it, one owner creampuff, a client of ours for many years who was downsizing his fleet, super price. Was rear-end-totalled just a few weeks later by a texter, made decent money on the deal after the insurance payout. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, 'cause they ARE really nice.
  18. ...nine months afterwards.
  19. Golly gee willikers. I got so excited I hyperventilated, threw up, and wet myself.
  20. Just an FYI for folks buying pre-printed parts...there is a lot of poorly designed, poorly scaled, and poorly printed stuff out there, so look critically at what you're buying. EXAMPLE: there's a "Ford FE" on feepay right now that looks as much like an FE as I do. The plugs are on top of the heads, and he's got the intake manifold feeding into the block. Pathetic phoned-in garbage, but somebody's going to buy it.
  21. Well, it got a little dark out, and I watched it with a pinhole in a piece of cardboard projecting on a white sheet of paper. About 60% totality here in Atlanta. Now it's getting lighter again. We had an almost total one here back in May of '84.
  22. I'm a simple guy. Watched it with a pinhole in a piece of cardboard projecting on a white sheet of paper. About 60% totality here in Atlanta.
