  1. Nice progress. This build is providing me with some real inspiration for my '30 Ford kits!
  2. Cool build! Perfect combination of parts!
  3. She’s a beauty -Looks like it came out of the box that way!
  4. Looks great!
  5. That is the best reply yet! lol
  6. LOVE IT! Nothing beats the look of real metal. Wish I could do scaled metal work like this...

    Looks awesome
  8. The kit that I sourced my hood from was the older issue molded in yellow from the '90's, but I would imagine that the reissue pictured here would be the same.
  9. @‌ Jay - that old Plymouth is awesome!
  10. Stunning! You sure know how to build a Shelby Cobra…
  11. I'm doing a similar build of my own right now. The hood I used is the louvered one found in the Revell/Monogram '32 Ford Roadster kits. It's longer than the hood that is included in the Revell '32 Ford 3-Window/5-Window/Sedan kits and seems to fit between the '30 body and the '32 grill perfectly on this chassis. BTW - great progress so far. Its providing me with inspiration to complete my build lol
  12. Here's a few pics of my recenly completed '37 Ford Farm Truck
  13. That looks awesome!
  14. I swear that the 1:1 was running around Niagara Falls in my childhood picking up scrap. Incredible how similar your build is to that truck. Great work!
  15. I like the progress...
  16. That looks great!
  17. Cool build. I used to see these cars everywhere back in the day. Now they are kind of like a unicorn....
  18. Here's a couple of my recently completed WoodyWagons:
  19. Cool custom work-definitely improving the looks of this old Chrysler
  20. I really like this build. Where did you get the boom, or is it scratch build?
  21. Family owned since new. Strong runner, hasn't been driven on the road for a few years now. Ran when parked. Works great as a field truck, could use some TLC to be used as a daily driver again. Could use a coat of paint, but otherwise very solid. Serious inquiries only! Just having a little fun! Revell '37 Ford P/U built up from an incomplete kit. The bed was scratch built from wood stir sticks. Paint is Krylon Fusion gloss black and the red is some left over Duplicolor engine enamel. Light spray of Testor's flat clear lacquer over both colors, and use of Tamiya weathering kit to give it the oxidised paint look. I have a few misc. parts that I can add to the truck, but I kind of like how it looks as it sits. SC
  22. Krystal Klear works well, but don't expect it to be as strong as Testors cement or Crazy glue. You could get away with the later, but you would have to be sparse with the amount of glue you use. I've always wanted to build this with the wall framework painted (to help hide the glue and seams) and leave the "panels" clear. Just never found this kit at a price I was willing to pay. Maybe you could try that?
