  1. Yup - will be following this build for sure. LOVE the post race look, with the dirt, grime, bugs, and chuncks of rubber.
  2. Love it! Any under hood/chassis pics?
  3. Love the '34 - parts box builds can be great fun! Any idea where the wheels came from? The rear white wall slicks would look great on some projects I have on my bench
  4. Nice scratch building skills, and very nice build over all. The two tone body has two of my favorite colors on it! I don't normally criticize builds, but I find the use of the Work Wheels logo (aftermarket Japanese wheel company) on the engine intake a little confusing on an otherwise well thought out build. Especially since you used modified OEM C4 wheels on the chassis.
  5. Cool! Had no idea this kit even existed......need to get one of these! Not normally a Corevette guy, but love the C7. Can't wait to see what you do with this one.
  6. Small update: I did a test shot of the Testors Flip Flop purple over 3 pieces of scrap plastic 1. Testors Flip Flop purple over Testors gloss black enamel 2. Testors Flip Flop purple over blue styrene (no primer or base coat) 3. Testors Flip Flop purple over "Nighthawk Black Pearl" by Duplicolor (an OEM Honda color) The results were pretty much the same. The test with the Duplicolor base coat gave some visiaul depth, but hardly the Flip Flop effect one might have hoped for. Pics to be posted soon.
  7. ‘Cmon – stop it already! Its bad enough you’re making the rest of us look bad with your detailing skills, but do you really need to show off the graphics on the undercarriage?
  8. Nice conversion! I think of this kit as one of my "guilty pleasure" kits, as I always want to get my hands on one. I've owned probably 4 or 5 of these since the early '90s, and every single one of them has had a twisted chassis of some sort, the front end sits too high, and the rear tailight panel never seems to fit correctly. Still love it tho.... Again, nice work.
  9. Love the "24hrs of Lemons" vibe you got going on here.... I'd totally rock that at the local autocross track!
  10. Very impressive stuff. I have a sneaky suspicion that you are into Italian exotics? Call it a "wild guess ". Makes me wish I hadn't sold my Lamborghini kit.....
  11. That's wild! (In a good way)
  12. Looks like you hit the ground running with this one! Nice detail-you got my attention

Looks good-color choice really suits the build!
  14. Amazing!
  15. Sounds like you got a deal! I don't think I've ever seen a complete, unbuilt version of this kit for anything less than $65
  16. Hi Jonathan - sorry to bring this post back from the dead, but I was wondering the same thing! I just bought a can of the Purple over the weekend. Thought it might be fun to give it a try. So far, I did a test of this stuff over a metallic blue, and the results were disappointing. Just made the test subject look like a metallic lavender purple color. Just read before posting that this stuff is intended to be applied over a black base. I'll give it a try in the next day or so to see if that works better. So far, not worth the money.....
  17. Dale - those look amazing!
  18. it's all in the details....
  19. Too cool! Had no idea that such a kit existed. Aproximately how tall fully assembled?
  20. Excellent job - the accident damage is by far my favorite part of the build!

Very sharp! One of my favorite colors for teh GTA. Any "before" pics?
  22. This build is really starting to take shape!
  23. Here is one of my favorite on-line sources for classic/muscle car pics: http://www.legendarymotorcar.com/inventory/current-inventory.aspx You may have seen some of their TV shows on the Speed channel. These guys do alot of restoration work on the Mopar E-Body. The owner used to own half a dozen Hemi 'Cudas and Challengers in his personal collection. Some good shots inthe "Cars for Sale" section, both "Classic Cars for Sale" and "Past Classic Cars for Sale". SC
