  1. Cool rod-where did you find the engine?
  2. Nice! Love the battle scars
  3. Very nice build. The crates are pretty cool too. I've been looking for something like that for some futrue build ideas of mine. Don't suppose you have any extras
  4. I'd like to see that!
  5. Never thought I would say “Edsel” and “Cool” in the same sentence, but there you are….. Cool Edsel build!
  6. Great idea - love to see the finished product
  7. New, indoor, low light pics lol
  8. That is such a great color nice work!
  9. Nice! Great effort to recreate the 1:1
  10. Started work on the Woody again. Progress on the chassis, engine, and interior. Wasn't satisfied with the paint, so I gave it a couple more coats of paint. The sunset last evening was perfect for pics, so I snapped a couple of the car. Pics are after paint, prior to polishing. Lots of work to be done still, as with some minor touch ups.
  11. Looks perfect
  12. Wow! Looks great-very realistic!
  13. Great looking details - keep up the good work!
  14. Wild and outlandish for sure. Congrats on finishing this - lots of hard work went into this one! Can't wait to see what other creations you have in store for us down the road.
  15. I can't believe I missed this build the first time around. Nice work - love to see this finished! Very surprised that no one ever made the 2dr kits - such a popular truck among the enthusiasts!
  16. I like this - A LOT! If it were me, I'd leave it silver Cool engine, hard to tell what it started out as. Any hints?
  17. I like it-Looks sinister !
  18. What about the colour used on the hood scoop?
  19. Nice colour choice for the wheels Lloyd
  20. Something that I've been playing with on and off again. Thought I would take this down from the shelf and take a break from my other Hot Rod builds. Paint is Krylon gloss black - nothing fancy. Thought I would experiment with it and found that it seems to take longer than typical enamel lacquer paint to cure. A bit of a kit bash - '69 Nova SS chassis with the big block from the COPO Nova + resin Moroso valve covers. Since they are effectively the same kit, no modification necessary. Just finished polishing the paint and applied the flame decals here. The decals are left over from a '67 Chevelle Pro Street kit. Sorry for the lousy quality - black on black is hard to shoot late in the evening. I'll post some better outdoor pics with future updates.
  21. Too cool - nice work!
  22. Looks pretty cool to me. Got any more pics?
  23. No kidding! The cheapest I ever found this kit was $20 at a show. Usually retails for $38.99 CDN + 13% sales tax at the nearest hobby store. Not a cheap kit for us Canadians. Anyways - look forward to seeing what cobraman does with this!
