Art, if you are going to continue down the WIP path here could I suggest a separate thread specific to your own model.
The subject of the original thread has been sidelined indefinitely.
I could not agree more. I thought you were trying to build a model of the scene. Only after rereading the post did I realize this is the model. Most impressive.
I think I see a guy in 7th heaven! Well deserved. What's the story on ghe Cadillac? Yours by any chance! The diorama looks fantastic in its complete form.
I concur. I have never been very attracted to the FM version of this RR but David has sure made some significant improvements upon it. Brilliant addition there. I look forward to seeing photos of the finale.
Glad to be of service David. The more ai look the better all of this gets. This is absolutely my favorite posting on this forum and it just keeps getting better every time I look.
David, your logic is good. On the other hand, one could be dropping tghe car for service before attending a meeting of vital importance. The helpful staff of Hooper and Co. would only be too happy to arrange for ones bags to be taken to your suite. In either case (pun unintended) I am going to need a set of suitcases for use in my '30 Ford station wagon.
The diorama continues to evolve in a suburb manner!
This is really turning into a nice model. The Rockford Files was one of my two favorite shows as a kid (the other being Ba Ba Blacksheep) and I always thought the car was as important a character as James Rockford himself. You are doing justice to this one.
They are called a coupe. Some called them Doctor's Coupes but doctors can afgord better than a Ford. My grandfather was a physician in New York. He drove a Franklin 7-Passenger Phaeton. Just saying!
I recall hearing of bobbies in a Sophomore year criminal justice course. Great addition. I am waiting with baited breath for a look at the finished product.
