  1. Art, if you are going to continue down the WIP path here could I suggest a separate thread specific to your own model. The subject of the original thread has been sidelined indefinitely.
  2. I will look forward to watching your work on this one. I love anything Duesenberg.
  3. I would like to know how this was done. I can see a lot of use for these.
  4. I could not agree more. I thought you were trying to build a model of the scene. Only after rereading the post did I realize this is the model. Most impressive.
  5. Welcome. Many of those are my kind of models. I especially like the 26-7 Model T and the Lincoln Sport Phaeton! Keem 'em coming.
  6. I agree with the other posters. This is a tough model to get together and you have done a great job making it look wonderful. Nice model.
  7. I couldn't agree more with the others. Fabulous work so far. I will be following along with interest.
  8. I think I see a guy in 7th heaven! Well deserved. What's the story on ghe Cadillac? Yours by any chance! The diorama looks fantastic in its complete form.
  9. I like it. I have thought for a long time that the 40-41 Continental is the most beautiful American car of all time. You have done this one justice.
  10. What's not to like? This is a fantastic example of every part of a model being a model itself. Very, very well done!
  11. I concur. I have never been very attracted to the FM version of this RR but David has sure made some significant improvements upon it. Brilliant addition there. I look forward to seeing photos of the finale.
  12. I have one in almost exactly the same color scheme. Yours is better!
  13. The skill set of people on this forum is humbling indeed. This is fabulous Ellen.
  14. Glad to be of service David. The more ai look the better all of this gets. This is absolutely my favorite posting on this forum and it just keeps getting better every time I look.
  15. Um...wow! You sure this isn't real?
  16. David, your logic is good. On the other hand, one could be dropping tghe car for service before attending a meeting of vital importance. The helpful staff of Hooper and Co. would only be too happy to arrange for ones bags to be taken to your suite. In either case (pun unintended) I am going to need a set of suitcases for use in my '30 Ford station wagon. The diorama continues to evolve in a suburb manner!
  17. This is really turning into a nice model. The Rockford Files was one of my two favorite shows as a kid (the other being Ba Ba Blacksheep) and I always thought the car was as important a character as James Rockford himself. You are doing justice to this one.
  18. Can you tell us a little bit about the contents of the boot? That luggage looks amazing. Henry looks the part of a well to do aristocrat!
  19. Clearly this is going to be a very sizable diorama. The roadway dividers are a nice addition.
  20. Looks excellent as usual!
  21. They are called a coupe. Some called them Doctor's Coupes but doctors can afgord better than a Ford. My grandfather was a physician in New York. He drove a Franklin 7-Passenger Phaeton. Just saying!
  22. I recall hearing of bobbies in a Sophomore year criminal justice course. Great addition. I am waiting with baited breath for a look at the finished product.
  23. Oh? Who is doing that and when will it hit the market?
  24. I too could go for a 70's land yacht. And I would happily pay money for a '71-3 Riviera or '72-3 Continental Mark V.
