  1. Looks excellent.
  2. I had a 90 Package B in red, a 94 Package A in red and a 95 M-Edition, in Merlot Mica. By far the 95 was my favorite, a car I would still own if not for the rust gremlins. I really like your model. I built Tamiya versions of the 90 and 95, which are burried here somewhere.
  3. Absolutely fabulous model in every way. If I could build just one this nice...
  4. I owdned one of these, the 1:1 and a model. The model never got built but I sure loved the car! Great model and thanks for the memories.
  5. I have driven one and can tell you they are an absolute truck tho park. Once they get moving they are four wheeled magic. On the topic of models, does anyone know if the Heller kit and the Revell of Germany kit are the same model?
  6. I have owned three 1:1 Miatas...and will own another some day. You are doing well. In my opinion you can never have the paint "too red" on a Miata. I'll be watching your progress with interest.
  7. Oh no...this is coming from a guy who is currently defacing two Duesenbergs!
  8. I continue to be amazed by your fabrication work. Well done. If anything gets damaged I have a good supply of Packard engines. I'm glad to contribute to the cause.
  9. This is simply amazing. You appear to have more model building talent in your left pinky than I'll ever have in my whole body!
  10. My humble suggestion is there would be no scattering of papers on the desk. Instead they would be arranged in a stunning maroon leather bound portfolio...with perhaps a hardcover sales brochure. Gold lettering "Hooper." Let's not allow ourselves to be undignified David! I can't spill enough accolades about this project, even with a tongue in cheek comment! Eric
  11. I just cant get enough of this one. It is absolutely fabulous.
  12. One thing I realized I was not liking was the radiator grill texture. I have made some changes. See what you think.
  13. Glad to do it. I have been treated exceptionally well by many members of this forum. That is true of trades, parts provision, sales and advice. This is just my way of paying it forward.
  14. The feeling is 100% mutual. Mike really did me a solid and right when I needed it. Many thanks!
  15. The detail you are putting into this is really amazing.
  16. And the final piece of the puzzle is now coming together. Anyone else here get to that place where you are just done with a model project? I think I overdid it with dualing racers. I will wrap this one up this week but I find myself needing something to get past my slump buster. Here is what I have so far.
  17. Thanks for all your encouragement on this one. More to come in a few days.
  18. I had this kit and either sold it or traded it off. This model makes me regret that decision. Great model.
  19. Oh...so cool. That is excellent. I like everything about it.
  20. As you all know, it is very easy to over-do the weathering on a model. Aside from a few detail items (tail lamp lens and some touch ups) I am about ready to call this one done. This is a model that would not have happened without the support from members of this forum, from an informational and parts standpoint. Thanks to all of you. Sometimes it is the little tiny things that make us happy. In the case of this model I am especially pleased with the hood strap rendering. I am hoping to wrap up the companion car in the next couple days also. Feedback is welcome as always.
  21. You have correctly identified where he came from- a MPC Gangbusters kit!
  22. A very kind member of this forum sent me a complete Monogram Bugatti 35B with a pair of Brooklands windscreens. I decided to only use one for this model...reserving the other for the Bugatti if I choose to resurrect it.
  23. Oh what a great car...and it looks like it will be a great model!
  24. You read my mind! When it appears under glass that is exactly the look I will be after.
  25. Ooo La La. I can't wait to follow this!
