  1. Nice, I want to build this very same version I just need to come up with a 57 2door sedan kit
  2. It looks absolutely killer especially the interior panels
  3. Im thinking about a build to come soon And this car popped up I have a very nice builder and am thinking this color combo I'm looking at Tamiya TS87 Titanium gold for the exterior and maybe TS75 Champagne gold for the interior. But am stumped how or what colors to use for the 2 tone interior colors Also, is there anything out there kit wise thats close for the fender mounted rear view mirrors 1960 Mercury Parklane Convertible For Sale At Auction - Mecum Auctions
  4. 2 at a time Is pretty much my max at same time. And are usually 2 very similar subjects Although I have started builds from as far back and 15 years ago
  5. Was this kit ever reissued ?
  6. Very nice. But.... im pretty certain an outside mirror was not avail on them in 1955
  7. Keep in mind interior colors back then were rarely just plain colors. Most have a pearl look to them My 66 Satellite as an example is a pearlescent light Burgandy in color
  8. Anyone know a source , can be either original plastic or resin I have a resin conversion but its missing the red lenses
  9. I may have one. Will ck later today if it's any good
  10. Back at it for a day or so Engine details are all done,, and about ready to go into the chassis for the last time Engine is kitbashed with various Revell pieces to replicate a wedge engine and retain the 4spd trans Painted duplicolor old Ford engine blue, A carb from Fireball. Prewired dist from MAD Fuel line from the carb to the fuel pump. home made carb return spring and brcket Spark plug wire clips from MCG ( thank god for lighted magnifiers btw ) Headers are from the hemi , only heated and bent to work on the wedge motor edit, Now that I look at it in pictures. I think the red battery cable to starter wire is a bit too thick I may have to change that before it goes in the chassis
  11. Was rummaging thru some boxes this week and came across this one. I started this build A T LEAST 10 years ( likely more ) ago Original intention was the Woodward Garage Mule Cuda. But was never able to find the decals to do the car . SO in a box it went. Might have to put this one back on the bench soon and move forward with some kind of plan Best guess right now is just use it for a 1st rendition of the Sox+Martin SS/B car
  12. Steve, Keep in mind. these bolt holes in the ends of said valley pan are covered by a metal strip at each end . THEY are held down with bolts
  13. Pricy https://www.ebay.com/itm/176834850997
  14. Cool build I just did the same car a month or so ago No drag car builders collection is complete without the HUG in it
  15. I just use good old fashion duplicolor rattle can primer
  16. Ive found myself in a situation where I need the clear glass for one of my 67 Plymouth builds Mainly just front and rear glass Also, I would like to come up with a couple / 3 of the stock H pipe system from the same revell 1967 Coronet Its the only exhaust of the bunch that has the turn down style tailpipes . All the other Mopar kits from Revell have chrome tips
  17. Ive got a few of them if you need it
  18. Mailman dropped off a few goodies past few days Sealed Revell 1968 Charger Open/ sealed inside Revell 67 GTX And some wide whitewall tires from a member trade with Jollysipper Thanks again
  19. Like this a bunch I've got the lindberg kit to do this car. Might have drag it out here soon
  20. Thanks all. This one is shaping up far better than I ever expected . Or strive to achieve actually So am trying my best to take my time. Waiting on some engine detail supplies before I go any further
  21. I'm thinking this kit is something like 20 years old now..give or take????? I remember when it came out and the common talk was it was a reasonably accurate kit . I have an original AMT version. Or I would have built one . Looks great btw
  22. Interior is now done Added some photo etch seat belts. And the correct shifter Sat down for several hours and knocked out the BMF work. That was fun. Ok. Not really My neck and shoulders paid the price. I'll spend the rest of the day with a heating pad on me.
  23. Killer pair. I have an old MPC buildup. I plan to use to build both their 70 and 72 Cudas
