  1. Cool. But didnt Ford actually build two Boss 9 Cougars...that eventually were retaged as 1970 models.
  2. Racer X was the 1st thing i thought when i opened the post. Kind of neat looking little car
  3. A Johan 1962 Chrysler 300 hardtop. Going to be a parts car
  4. Should Revell make it ? I'm not sure I'm qualified to answer that. My gut says there waiting to see how well the Foose Ford truck does before thinking about anything else Foose But if they did make it,,,, I wouldn't buy it. IMO the thin bumpers ruins it
  5. I use one of these exclusively for BMF work. Just the weight of the tool is all it needs. and like mentioned . It gets a new blade every time I start any BMF work . Main reason I like it , its retractable. And I have a couple of them as well as a couple regular #11 blade knives
  6. I like it and $30 was a good buy. And if the convertibles are everywhere ,,,I'll take another 1,,,,,or 2 or 3. I have an unbuilt 1960 convertible in the box and I keep looking for a builder that's clean but all I find are ones with all the goofy custom stuff glued all over it. Regardless its probably going to be a while before I even think about starting it ,,,but I bought it to build not collect dust . so someday. My 59 kit was also a near mint in the box kit ( its not anymore )
  7. Started the bare metal foil work. Inserts are painted with Magnesium buffing metallizer. I wanted something darker than plain silver or steel color. The color looks like a washed out black on my monitor ,,,but the isn't as dark in person as these pics makes it out to be . But this is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
  8. Yep.as soon as i hit reply. I thought about the red small blocks
  9. 1967 v8 engines were turquouse , regardless of size - ac or not . EXCEPT a 426 Hemi , they were all Hemi orange
  10. Absolutely outstanding. The display just takes it up a notch Well done
  11. A small update. Had a little bench time this morning waiting for the garage to warm up ( working on a 1/1 car ) so I taped it up and sprayed the white inserts in Tamiya Pure white . Then 2 coats Testors wet look clear.
  12. Well, sorry to report. I don't have any spares, actually don't have enough glass for the few builder kits I do have
  13. I'm restoring a 1/1 1968 Charger RT for a good friend of mine. And on his visit yesterday to ck out the car . He gave me this. 100% completely untouched original in a near mint box and a flawless decal sheet. I asked how much I owed him all I got is ' its yours ' Its nice to have good friends to watch out for me at flea markets.
  14. Ps, anyone make a nice resin replica of the MPC 69 hardtop kit ?
  15. Making the hood fit would be the easy part. I still think cutting the tail panel to fit wouldn't be all that difficult. then replace the DODGE with photo etch. My MPC 69 R/T is a drop top or I would consider doing one myself .
  16. Well done. Love the color choices .
  17. Very nice, Really like the color combo. the Tri tone interiors these cars had were just the icing on the cake
  18. Let me ck this weekend. I may have an extra glass. You need windshield - back glass or both ?
  19. Drop the tires and wheel in a bowl of hot water for about 5 minutes they'll pop right off I do it all the time with old annuals tires / wheels
  20. I like it. I just picked up 2 of these over the weekend still sealed ........ Might have to pull one out and get it painted for a winter time build
  21. ps, I've seen resin parts to convert the Monogram Bee kit to an RT. But nothing for the MPC kit to go the other way
  22. If hes like me, I avoid 1.24th scale stuff,,,just looks weird next to the rest in my case. I've thought about trying to take the tail light panel out of the Monogram kit and cut it down to fit the MPC body. then use photo etched to put the DODGE lettering back in place. I've never done it though but I think its possible. ...... I have a 69 RT kit,,but its WAAAAAAAY down my to do list.
  23. Nice....especially the color combination. Ive been looking for a clean 63 convertible for myself
  24. Agreed. Its not that important to me if its not 100% dead on perfect scale to a 1/1 .
  25. I think I've got at least 10 now of Lindberg Color Me Gone Dodge kits . Actually I have at least 4 or 5 of EACH of the Lindberg 1964 Dodge or Plymouth kits. Just last week I bought 4 of the Polar Lights Candies + Hughes Cuda funnycars at Ollies,,,,, For $8 each I couldn't pass them up as parts kits
