  4. I have the RMR D100 four door cab . I want a D500 series truck
  5. The only 64 Dodge that ran a straight axle that I'm aware of was Landys silver car ( it still exists today ) I'm not saying it didn't exist back then,,,Just this Is the first I've ever heard of it and I've never seen pictures of a Ramchargers car with a straight axle . Just for the record,,,this isn't a straight axle car. Its one of the 2% cars,,,,,its where the front suspension is moved forward ever so slightly
  6. He definitely has a client base with deep pockets, and if he can consistently get that kind of coin for his builds...I say more power to him
  7. Cant say I've ever seen a straight axle equipped Ramchargers team car
  8. Put some slicks on that bad boy and lets go racing. With a little bit of work they can be made into a very nice shelf piece
  9. Yep. Winchester grey. If i remember right its paint code GA4
  10. This is the problem with most of the early promo cars...they dont just warp.....they shrink. In my experience..fixing one is futile. IF .....you can straighten it. The warp comes back in time
  11. Meager....you call that meager? I call it stunning and WAAAAAAAY above most builders abilities
  12. Thanks fellas. Its gonna stay exactly as shown.....except maybe a little dusting. Not going to touch up or change anything
  13. Excellent,,,and I agree. this car gets a bad rap I'm not 100% sure it deserves. Once built it looks pretty good in the case. But I will say some Bare Metal Foil does wonders for it
  14. Wow. Color looks dead on. Decals for the gauge faces ?
  15. Agreed 100% And having seen one of these cars in person . I sure don't envy you making that chassis from scratch.
  16. I recently picked up an up top for the Johan 62 Dodge and/or Plymouth kit off Ebay You just have to be patient they do pop up for sale from time to time ( problem is now i cant find the kit I bought the top for,,,but thats another story )
  17. While looking thru my stash for something completely unrelated. I found this one. With a few recent threads on similar builds I knew I had built one long long long ago but haven't seen it in years and didn't know if I even still had it. I built this car something like 25 or 30 years ago. And Lord knows how long its been in stashed away in a box. But not any longer. It'll sit proudly on the top shelf of my display cabinet from now on and absolutely nothing will be changed. Its crude by most members standards ( including my own ) But its one of the oldest kits I built many many many years ago that I still have . I think its an old MPC kit ??? It's all rattle can paint using a cardboard mask to allow some degree of over spray to get the fade paint job . And I have no idea where individual parts or decals came from. There is a fuelie Vette small block motor in it,,, might have been from the same kit ???? Thanks for looking.
  18. I like it. And remember all to well the stink it raised using an import car in the race duties , even though the pre-production Viper was used as the pace car
  19. Pro STOCK died many years ago. Now its just ProMOD with a different set of rules.
  20. Doesn't really matter. Once the console is in, it covers the hump anyway . UNLESS if your building a non console car ,,,,,, thats a different story
  21. Correct, on the 1/1 the seam is lead filled http://moparblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/1964-Dodge-Polara-rear.jpg
  22. All 1964 Hemi light weights had bucket seats MOST of them were just a plain old Belvedere. I've heard rumors of a Fury Hemi car ,,but never seen proof its exists then or now. I bought this kit from Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon . To be honest expecting a full decal sheet to do the red/bronze color on the car. I was really disappointed and am REEEEEEALY glad I didnt pay full price . Nothing on the instructions to assist as to what color to spray the car to resemble the original car to match the lettering like on the 1/1 . Then I saw the hood scoops, and wonder why tool up new scoops only to get them so wrong ( and they ARE NOT the same scoops thats in any other version of the 1964 Lindberg Dodge / Plymouth lineup,,,at least none of the kits I have ,,,and I have a bunch of these kits in the stash )
  23. Before assy / before paint
