  1. Go here, but I'll warn you. Have a cold drink when you do,,you'll be there a while http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/library-2.shtml
  2. Ok, 1st - the gauges- the long rectangular one is standard and was avail in either a 120 or 150 MPH configuration., the 2nd one ( round one ) was the optional rally gauges on a 69 Dodge. Both are correct . I think in a Coronet RT, with the standard gauge panel it only went to 120 mph and only the round gauge set went to 150 . On the long style it could be had with either a clock or a tach mounted to the far right of the gauge set ( not both at the same time ) The Rallye set could be had with a clock / tach combination in the far left round gauge pod 2nd - the steering wheel , standard was the top one shown . It was avail in multiple colors to coordinate with the interior color ( horn pad included ) , the bottom was the optional woodgrain wheel with the stainless spokes and color coordinated center horn pad 3rd - Head rests were optional on all models but became standard / required equipment on Jan 1st 1969 due to a federal safety change mandate. ( hardtop versus convertible had no bearing on if you got them or not ) Also, ck the center dash pad below the radio. I believe the MPC dash is only correct for an A/C car ( which is the only piece in the kit to represent an air car ) I ckd my 68 Coronet builtup and that's whats in it . So i only assume the 69 kit is the same While I was there,,I pulled an AMT 68 Roadrunner / 69 GTX out and both have the 68 style dash ( but non air ) Also ckd the Johan Roadrunner / Superbird dash and its a correct 69 non air dash
  3. Steve, WOW, I've said it before but you are the master on the interiors of these old kits
  4. Agreed, on both accounts. No way would I close it up for good
  5. I believe the rear bumper guards ( aka fangs ) are standard on a 1970 Charger. Fronts were optional
  6. A just released Lawman 1964 Plymouth
  7. Agreed...i watch it from time to time.....he definitely thinks way outa the box
  8. Auto tech (in my garage.) i also Restore classic cars. Summer months i work at the local airport in the grounds dept
  9. ramcharger hood was still optional
  10. I wonder if you could use fishing line. It comes in a couple different sizes and colors
  11. Now. With that said. Could one have been dealer and /or owner installed....?. Sure....but ive not seen any documented example
  12. 1969 Coronet RT was 440 single 4 barrel or Hemi only....no exceptions In 1969 six pack was roadrunner and superbee ONLY
  13. Bitchin rides and Chasing Classic Cars. The rest are to much drama or scripted for me
  14. same here. I used to drill and wire my own,, And especially for $5 ea, I just dont have the patience or the eye sight to do them now. I have quite a few of these on hand for when I go beyond box stock ( thats rare anymore )
  15. Go outside the box. Use the RT emblems from the Revell 68-69 Charger and make it a stripe delete.
  16. IF. there is in fact a stock version coming. I hope they tool the RT door scoops separately
  17. agreed I've always been a fan of the 68 to 72 Cutlass body styles ( and I'm a diehard mopar guy )
  18. I'm well aware WHY they're called a base coat . Some of the builds i have planned are non metallic and I prefer to NOT clear them if I can get away with it. ( again,,,personal preference ) If all I had planned was metallic colors ( I clear them all ) this sale would be a good, but as it stands I'll just have my paints mixed locally.
  19. All they list is either a base ( you HAVE to clear it ) or is enamel. I didn't see anything listed as lacquer ( personal preference )
  20. To bad all there paint is enamel.
  21. Outstanding. I for one, would love to see your display area. It has to be huge
  22. All the revell charger kits have the 69 style marker ligjts molded in. When i did my 68 Dart (before the 68 came out) I used small aluminum tubing inserted in the body
  23. The final one is F6 Spring green which was a mid year introduction and is a very in your face green . Its slightly different color than the 99 code Plymouth version of the same year
  24. The lightest of the greens is F3 , IMO is not the best of the bunch . In person its really looks washed out
